Synopsis:

In the new paranormal romance from bestselling author April Asher, a down-on-her-luck wedding planner demigoddess and a Muse-less rockstar agree to a fauxmance that quickly turns anything but…

A lover of love and a champion for happily ever after. Those are two of many things people expect from Aphrodite’s daughter. To Adalyn Whitlock, ‘love’ pays the bills, and currently, not well. Business is dropping at Happily Ever Forever, with her latest wedding planning catastrophe ending in a negative social media storm and her sister Maxi’s matchmaking ability on the fritz. To top it off, there’s an ex-boyfriend calling her ‘the Anti-Aphrodite’ and paparazzi pics linking Addie to her new client’s older brother.

Phoenix "Nix" Cross―songwriter and drummer for the hot new band, The Stone Talons―is no saint, but he's far from the womanizer the band’s image rep bestowed on him. If anything, Nix is a romantic, hopeful he'll find a love like the one his parents share. With the band’s star quickly rising and the record label pressuring him to deliver their next hit, Nix’s writer’s block couldn’t have come at a worse time. But when he opens his door to his irate new next-door neighbor, Nix feels the brief flash of inspiration for the first time in ages. And it just so happens that his new Muse is none other than his little sister’s new wedding planner.

With Addie needing an end to her public-relations nightmare and the record label breathing down Nix’s neck, the pair agree to a fauxmance. But what happens when the emotions turned on for the cameras don't turn off?

Review:

The Cupid Dilemma was a fake dating paranormal romance that was fun and flirty.  With laugh out loud moments, a disastrous meet cute, characters that popped from the pages, and a story-line that was effortless to follow, I adored this book!  It was light-hearted and just what I needed!

Love.
Sparkling unicorns had more chance of being real than that four-letter word that never ceased to send people into a tizzy.

Addie was a wedding planner who didn’t believe in love, even though her mother was Aphrohdite.  With her business struggling, she agreed to fake date her hot musician neighbor….she would be his muse, and he would help with her PR issues.   I was squealing and clapping my hands as they agreed to the terms!

Dates. Public outings.
What the hell did she get herself into?

Addie was so easy to adore and follow along with on her journey.  You could feel how much she loved her business partners, her sister and cousin.  And her dog, Do-Re-Me added the most adorable moments!  Plus her pajama wardrobe was the best!  But watching her get flustered by Nix?!  That was priceless time and again!

A serrated knife to the gut was less painful than hearing Addie play off the kiss that had just tilted his world on its axis and quite literally knocked a sweet melody into his head.

Nix came off as having a player vibe because of the music he wrote, plus he could be so sure of himself.  But getting to know him, he was entirely different.  I loved his quick wit, humor, and protectiveness.  He had such a kind soul.  And the man had no problems being forward and letting Addie know exactly how much he wanted her!

“This is a really bad idea, Phoenix,” Addie whispered, her voice scratchy.
“On average, I’m a big fan of them. They usually lead to the most fun.”

With smile inducing dates, it was fun watching their chemistry explode.  It gave me butterflies!  As they started to spend more time around each other, it was heartwarming watching a friendship form.  They cared for each other, supported one another, and cheered each other on.  And when they did cross that line to more, their moments were sexy and so steamy!

Phoenix grinned against her lips. “As you wish.”

I need more of this world, it was so much fun!  And I loved all of the Greek Mythology that was woven into the story.  The Cupid Dilemma is the perfect book to take to the beach or curl up next to a fire with.  It was delightful, feel good, and so entertaining!  I definitely recommend it!

Synopsis:

A witch and a shifter get a second chance at love in this new paranormal romantic comedy from USA Today Bestselling author April Asher.

At the bright-eyed age of eighteen, witch Harlow “Harry” Pierce attended her first Fates Festival Finding Ceremony certain the Blue Willow Wisp would lead her to her Fated match, her cougar shifter boyfriend, Jaxon Atwood. But Fate had other plans, guiding her best friend to him instead. With a broken heart, all her belongings, and a vow to never return, Harry did the only thing a heartsick witch could do. Run.

Thirteen years later, she returns to her magical hometown―with her half-human, half-shifter goddaughter in tow―hoping that not only would the town work its magic on the troubled teenager, but that the local Alpha of the Rocky Mountain Pack could help Grace identify―and control―her fiery abilities.

Jaxon Atwood was a shifter of few words and even less patience… until his mother retired as Alpha of the Rocky Mountain Pack and left the running of things to him. It’s a headache he didn’t need, and one that brought the witch who’d ripped his heart from his chest knocking on his door.

Ever since the disappearance of the town’s Fate Witch over a decade ago, Fates Haven’s magic has been slowly going haywire. There hasn’t been a Fated Match made in thirteen years, putting the town in serious jeopardy of losing its title of Highest Fated Mates Percentage in the World. But now, something is stirring in Fates Haven, Colorado, and it smells like the past, tastes like change, and looks like A SIMPLE TWIST OF FATE.

Review:

A Simple Twist of Fate was an adorable, second chance, paranormal romance.  With found family that will warm your heart, characters that feel like home, and a storyline that was all the fun, this book was so easy to enjoy!

Harlow Pierce possessed the ability to knock his feet out from under him without even trying, and it was clear that in her time away from Fates Haven— and him— that skill had grown more potent.

I liked and clicked with Harlow Pierce, aka Harry, right away.  She had the biggest heart ever, and I loved how her thoughts like 9pm being after her bedtime were so relatable.  After thirteen years she found herself returning to her small hometown to help her goddaughter, Grace.  And there was no avoiding her ex, Jaxon Atwood.  I loved that we also got this story from his point of view!  He was a shifter who easily had me in his clutches with just a few words.  Sigh.

Fuck Fate. Make your own.

With a fun and flirty vibe and moments that will have you giggling, this small town romance was so effortless to love!  There was a hilarious and meddling Aunt, old best friends that had Harry’s back, and tension that was delicious.  The steam was perfect, and I loved the mystery about what was going on with everyone’s magic.  The ending will have you smiling for our couple, and I love that other characters stories were left open so we can revisit this world.  I have all my fingers crossed that we’ll be back in Fates Haven.  I loved this world!

The joke’s on them. When old feelings make a reappearance―along with Violet’s magic―they both realize there’s nothing fake about their feelings. But there are old secrets and looming threats that could snatch away their happily ever after, again. One thing’s for sure: magic doesn’t make dating and love any easier.

In Not the Witch You Wed, April Asher brings all the hilarity and sweet, sexy moments you love in a romantic-comedy―plus a fun dose of magic―to this spell-binding new series about being sexy, single, and supernatural in New York City.

Review:

Not the Witch You Wed was a paranormal romcom that was so much fun!  It was a second chance romance that also had enemies to lovers, fake dating, and fated mates wrapped into the story.  I listened to the audiobook and absolutely loved the narrator.  She made the book come alive.  The characters were easy to love, the story-line was beyond enjoyable, and the steamy moments were done fabulously.

With fabulous dates between Violet and Lincoln that simmered with tension, and friends and sisters that added so much heart, this witch and shifter romance was a blast!  If you’re looking for something that’s easy to love, and leans more romcom than paranormal, definitely make sure you have Not the Witch You Wed on your tbr!

Review:

Not Your Ex’s Hexes started right where Not the Witch You Wed ended!  This time we followed the triplet Rose and what happened after her one night stand with Damian turned into more.  With the grumpy sunshine trope, friends with benefits, and fated mates, this steamy paranormal romcom was just as wonderful as the first!  And watching this story unfold was even more emotional than the first.  With community services, curses, and a fabulous grand gesture, this witchy half-Demon romcom was fabulous to listen to!

Synopsis:

In April Asher’s next Supernatural Singles novel, Not Your Crush's Cauldron, a buttoned-up witch takes a stroll on the wildish side, sparking an alert that lands her a familiar Guardian Angel.

Olive Maxwell much prefers teaching about the Supernatural world to taking part in it and leaves the magical shenanigans to her two sisters. After assigning her college students a project designed to nudge them outside their comfort zones, Olive realizes she’s never once stepped a toe out of her own . . . and it’s about time that changed. Her first trip into the unknown? Moving in with her longtime crush and friend . . . tattooed, motorcycle-riding, and pleasantly pierced Baxter Donovan.

Bax Donovan, Guardian Angel not-so-extraordinaire, has acquired so many black marks on his record it looks like a Scantron test. He’s been given one last chance to keep his Guardian wings―a high-profile Assignment he knows all too well. Olive is usually as low-risk as it gets. Hell, she wrote the safety manual. But something landed her on the Guardian Angel Affairs radar, and he guesses it has something to do with the heart-pounding stunts she’s determined to check off her Dare I Docket list.

Keeping Olive out of trouble is about to be his toughest Assignment. He’s at real risk of shattering the only Guardian Angel code of conduct rule he’s yet to break: Don’t fall in love with your Assignment. And he isn’t so sure that’s a bad thing.

If love doesn’t play by the rules, why should they?

Review:

Not Your Crush’s Cauldron was a fabulous paranormal romcom that swirled with forced proximity, friends to lovers and a steamy forbidden romance.  I love that we finally got Olive and Bax’s story!  They had been staples in the previous two books.  So this witch and tatted up guardian angel mashup was everything I was hoping it would be!  Plus we also got Bax’s POV, and it was sigh worthy!  Their story had me laughing out loud so many times, especially the house warming gift part.  I’m so happy I binged this series and can’t recommend enough to read them in order ♥.
