Review:

“Sometimes I secretly pretend I still believe in Santa.”
“Pfft.” He smiles softly. “Who doesn’t?”

With snow falling, Christmas music, hot cocoa, and Santa, The One Night Stand Before Christmas had everything I love in a holiday book. The characters pulled me in, the story line was addictive and the heat was absolutely sizzling!  Plus I loved how much I laughed.  This was the perfect ending to the Reindeer Falls trilogy and I can’t recommend these books enough!

All I had was an overabundance of hot cocoa.
And Santa. I had him too.
Yup.
I just had a one-night stand with Santa Claus.
That’s one hell of a way to get on the naughty list.

Noel’s co-worker, Jillian, left her to oversee pictures with Santa.  Santa was to be Jillian’s brother and Noel had been warned that he was a huge flirt.  So when Noel met Teddy, their meeting felt a little bit different, but there was instant chemistry.  And after one thing lead to another, Noel slept with Santa.  What’s a girl to do.

“We’ll have to bring the Santa costume,” I say in place of yes.
“Kinky.” He winks, but playfully. Smiling as he steps through the office door and starts unbuttoning the Santa jacket.

I loved Noel.  She was determined, kind and absolutely hilarious!  Hearing the story unfold from her point of view cracked me up.  And watching her interact with Teddy, had me falling so hard for him.  Teddy was a fabulous book boyfriend!  He rolled with the punches, was beyond intoxicating and I loved how thoughtful he could be.  I’d gladly accept cookies from him too, ha!

“That’s quite the package you’ve got there, Santa.” I roll my hips against him, hoping we can move this into my bedroom. Or we can just stay here and take off our pants. I’m not picky.
“Did you really just make a dirty Santa joke?” His tone is incredulous but he’s laughing.

From the moment they met each other, their chemistry was off the charts hot.  Who knew I’d be melting into a pile of goo while Noel was putting on Santa’s beard?!  Um yeah, I didn’t think that was possible until this book lol.  And on top of that, their banter was irresistible.  I would easily go from squealing to sighing out loud.  It was so effortless to fall madly in love with them.

“You’re so beautiful,” he tells me when his lips have moved back to mine.

With charm, humor and romance, The One Night Stand Before Christmas became an instant favorite.  And while I guessed how something was going to play out, it definitely didn’t take away from my enjoyment of this story. I just loved it so much!  And those who love epilogues will be oh so happy.  We got to jump one year into the future, and see where Noel, Holly and Ginger are in their lives.  It was incredible!  So if you love happily ever afters and Christmas stories then definitely give this trilogy a try!

Synopsis:

Dear Santa,

I do not want Keller James for Christmas.

I will not fall for him, no matter how charming or irresistible or famous he is. I will not be swayed by his skills in the kitchen or by his British accent. I’m going to win the Great Gingerbread Bake Off and no one is going to stand in my way. Not even Keller.

All kisses are off. I mean all bets. All bets are off. And all his clothes.

Grr, never mind. I’ll figure this out myself.

XOXO,
Ginger Winter

Review:

If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread was sprinkled with delicious goodies, hilarious banter and a charming story line.  And just like the previous book, The Boss Who Stole Christmas, I couldn’t stop smiling.  If you love romance, Christmas and the Food Network Channel during the holidays, then definitely add this one to your list!

I don’t like him. I can’t like him.
Still, my heart is racing.

Ginger was chosen as a contestant on The Great Gingerbread Bake-Off for TV….think Food Network holiday bake offs. And after a meeting with celebrity chef, Keller James, she was rattled.  Keller was unbelievably sexy and she was going to be competing against him.  But Ginger wanted to be the one to win the grand prize of $10,000.  That way she could open up her own bake shop.  And she didn’t need Keller distracting her.  Except sometimes life has other plans in mind for you…..

Oh, sweet heavenly fruitcake, I’ve lost my mind.

I adored Ginger!  She was funny, quirky, and kind and her verbal and inner monologues were absolutely hilarious at times. She was so open with us and it made her easy to like. Plus I loved how motivated she was for winning the prize money.  We got to hear the whole story from her point of view and it was so effortless to feel what she felt.  But even I saw that there was no way she could avoid falling for Keller.  He seemed to be everywhere she was.

“This town, the people. You. It all reminds me of what’s really important. Of what I’m missing.”
“What are you missing, exactly?”
“Something real.”

Keller James was a sexy professional baker who knew what he wanted in life.  And it seemed like he set his sights on Ginger, while also tackling the bakeoff.  He could be oh so smooth and irresistible.  But would he really stick around after the bakeoff was done?  I kept my fingers crossed for their happily ever after, while watching him try to get Ginger to want him.

“It’s Christmas, Ginger, and anything is possible at Christmas. Have a little faith in the magic.”

If You Give a Jerk a Gingerbread was merry and bright and can easily be binged in one sitting.  I loved how adorably sweet the story was, but that there was also spice in the pages anytime Ginger and Keller were near each other.  And the use of Christmas words throughout the story, ohhhhh so cute!  So now I’m off to the last sister’s book, The One Night Stand Before Christmas, and I can’t wait!

Synopsis:

Dear Santa,

Please bring me a new boss for Christmas. Mine is the worst. The worst, hidden in a six foot tall package of male perfection. It’d be easier if he looked like an old Scrooge, wouldn’t it?

Nick Saint-Croix doesn’t look like an old scrooge. He’s hot as-

Um, never mind. Just bring me a new boss. Please.

Sincerely,
Holly Winter

Review:

The Boss Who Stole Christmas was laugh out loud funny, sigh inducing, and there was so much Christmas cheer I couldn’t stop smiling.  With characters that came alive and a story line that played out like a movie, this easily became my favorite Jana Aston book!  Just so you know, I loved this book so much that I’ve already read it twice (now three times lol)!  So if you adore romance and Christmas, then you definitely have to pick this one up!

I shouldn’t be thinking about doing things with him that would put me on top of Santa’s naughty list.
Yet I do. I think those things.
I’m feeling suffocated in this car. Suffocated by all the different versions of Nick dancing in my head.

Holly Winter, whose family obviously loved Christmas ha, worked at the Flying Reindeer Toy Company.  She loved her job and was such a hard worker, but there was one small problem.  Or maybe I should say one tall, gorgeous problem.  Nick Saint-Croix.  He took over his Uncle’s toy company and had been driving Holly crazy ever since.

The tone of his voice sounds like every filthy thought I’ve ever had coated in a candy-cane sugar glaze.

You guys, I loved Holly.  She made me laugh, was devious, quick witted and had no problem going toe to toe with her Grinchy boss.  Even when Holly saw little clues that maybe, just maybe, Nick wasn’t the Grinch she thought he was.  She tried her best to ignore it.  Along with her attraction to him too.  But the more time they spent together, the more that became impossible to do.

“If you could have anything you wanted for Christmas, what would you ask for?” I question while we’re waiting for the shopkeeper to bag up my collection of gingerbread. He’s silent and I’m not sure he heard me so I turn, one eyebrow raised in question.
“Nothing I can have,” he answers, and he seems uncomfortable, not looking directly at me.

I was obsessed with Nick.  He was charming, smart, sexy and took being in control in the most wonderful of ways.  Nick was also full of surprises and the definition of sigh worthy.  And any time that Nick and Holly were together, their moments felt erotic and hot.  They were like fire and gas, when they were near each other they burned so brightly.  I loved them together!

“Holly,” Ginger chastises. “Where is your seasonal spirit? Is there no room at the Vagina Inn for Nick?”
“Oh, my God, you did not just say that.” I shove chocolates behind the new doors and start to gather my things.

On top of this book being scorching hot, it was beyond hilarious!  I loved when Holly was with her sisters.  They made me laugh so hard and you could feel all of the love between them.  Like the creation of Dickmas.  Oh my gosh, I kept finding myself laughing so hard I couldn’t even catch my breath!   But Holly and Nick together made me laugh so much too.  This was the perfect feel good book and I loved every minute of it.

Kissing Nick is like finding out that Santa is coming twice this year. And he’s bringing things you didn’t even think about putting on your list.

The Boss Who Stole Christmas had everything I could want in a Christmas story.  There was so much emotion packed into the pages and the characters leaped from the story, this book sure didn’t feel like a novella.  Especially since I laughed from beginning to end.  And with Christmas sprinkled throughout the pages, this book was a ton of fun to read.  The Boss Who Stole Christmas was festive, smile inducing and oh so hot, I can’t recommend it enough!

PS Here are some of Holly’s Christmas thoughts I loved and I’ve been stealing her Oh my Santa! saying…

I’ve got the nervous energy of an elf who overindulged in candy canes.
Oh, my Santa Claus, please stop talking!
I stand a little straighter. Be brave like Rudolph, I remind myself.
