During our Monthly Wrap-Up, we’ll take a look at what has happened around here in the last month. That’ll include what’s happened in my life, what the four of us have read, any other posts we may have had, giveaways still going on, our most popular Instagram posts, and books that I’ve added to my ever-growing TBR.

Jen’s Life:
Some of my highlights from April were:
✮ My birthday was last month. Arielle’s daughter and I both share the same day, April 10th. ♥ I celebrated my special day with lunch with my besties, dinner with all of my family at my favorite Mexican restaurant and then cheesecake afterwards. It was a fabulous day!
✮ Baseball is consuming our lives! My kiddos love this sport so much and it’s amazing how far they’ve come in the last few years. I get to scream at all of their hits and when they slide into home. I never thought I was a huge fan of baseball, but watching them play I definitely am!
✮ We celebrated Easter with my Grandma, Aunt and Uncle, Brother and Parents. It was such a fun, relaxing day filled with way too much food and non stop playing with my littles. 🙂

Our Favorite Books of the Month:
The Last Guest House by Megan Miranda (Cassie’s Choice)
This was my favorite Miranda novel to-date. I loved Avery, the main character, and really liked a lot of the supporting cast. It was well-paced and kept me enthralled the entire time.
The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern (Chelsea’s Choice)
Mesmerizing. Dazzling. Glamorous. My God the romance. It was everything. The atmosphere? Otherworldly.
✩✮✩
Sunset Rising (Sunset Rising #1) by S.M. McEachern (Jen’s Choice)
An exhilarating, action pack ride that kept me on the edge of my seat. If you’re a fan of dystopian and slow burn romance that is forbidden, then you definitely need this book in your life!
Aurora Rising (The Aurora Cycle #1) by Amie Kaufman, Jay Kristoff (Arielle’s Choice)
Guys. I know we’re only a quarter of the way through 2019 but I’ve read some damn good books so far. This….is one of the best. THIS BOOK LIVED UP TO EVERYTHING I HOPED AND DREAMED IT WOULD BE.

So that was our April. Did you read any of the same books that we did? Or share the same favorite book as us? If not, then what was your favorite book? Or have you read any of the books I just added to my TBR?
Here’s hoping you all had a wonderful April too. And cheers to May being fabulous for all of us!
Love that you’re enjoying baseball now that your kids are playing. I’ve never been much of a sports fan, but it’s definitely different when your kids are participating. 🙂

It’s funny how a sport can become something we enjoy when we get to watch our kiddos do them. ♥ Completely agree!
Aww, cute dog in that Insta photo. Happy birthday(s)! I’m glad you’re enjoying baseball. Kids’ activities are always more fun when you actually like the activity. Happy May!

I hope you love Aurora Rising!!!! But…prepared to also have your heart ripped out lol. 🙂
Your birthday sounds fun and delicious with CHEESECAKE–my fav! I’ve decided I’m going to buy Aurora Rising (I currently have it checked out) because so far it’s too exciting not to have my own copy to treasure.
YES to buying Aurora Rising. But also….my heart aches for you once you get to the end. ..Sobs…
