Synopsis:

Sera has no memory of her life before. Before captivity, before experiments, before the only lifeline she had was the voice of a boy in the cell next to hers. Before G.

G wishes he could forget everything before Sera brought him back to life. Forget his memories as a ruthless mercenary on an alternate version of Earth. Forget that he was part of an experiment simply known as Alpha.

Now on the run from their captors and in need of an antidote to save his life, G and Sera’s clock is ticking. And they’ll have to gamble everything on the bond they forged in captivity if they want to survive.

Review:

Alpha was the final book in The Infinity Division Trilogy and it ended with a bang!  I loved watching all the loose ends get tied up and those I’ve come to care for get their happily ever afters. But it was a rough road get there.  Heartache, redemption, sacrifice, lies and love filled the pages and at times everything seemed so unsure in this parallel dimension story.  So if you’re interested in giving this series a try you definitely have to go back to book one, Infinity. Yes each book is about a different couple, but the stories and threads are all linked together. It was so much fun seeing it all come full circle and there’s a moment that takes us back to the beginning of this series, awww loved it!!  So to finish up this trilogy, here are some of my favorite aspects:

“Dylan, everyone on every earth is breaking at some point or another.” I looked him dead in the eye. “Bad things happen to all of us. Horrible, life-altering things. It’s how we choose to deal with them that defines us.” – Sera

✮ Everlasting Love:

“I’m not going to kiss you again.” The statement was crystal clear; it was the delivery that lacked conviction. “I’m poison. Inside and out.”
“Then poison me,” I said. I brushed my lips to his again, this time slightly harder. He stayed absolutely still. I pulled away. “Do it so that I can show you I won’t break. I’m not fragile, G. I’m made of steel. You told me that, remember? I’m a fighter, so let me fight for you.”

I loved the idea that no matter what dimension you were in, there were always the constants in your life.  And within those constants was that one true love. I loved KCade and Kori, then Noah and Ash and finally I got to swoon for G and Sera.  We’ve known different versions of them on other dimensions and their true names are Dylan and Ava. But G and Sera faced the biggest hurdles and struggles yet.  And as if that wasnt enough, they had Dylan after them, in different ways. But regardless of everything they were put through, their love stood strong and not only fought the test of time but dimensions too.

✮ Friendships That Span The Dimensions:

“G, take a deep breath. We’re here to help you.” Kori… She came around to stand in front of me . Her gaze flickered to something on my right, then back to me. “We’re your friends.”
Someone beyond my field of vision snorted. Had to be Noah. “Friends? Not sure I’d go
that far,” he said. “But we won’t set you on fire or anything.”
There was an echoing
thwap—probably from Ash smacking the shit out of him— and a hiss.

I loved how this group of six, could be found in almost every dimension.  Their dynamic was a ton of fun and added so much to this series.  So it made my heart happy that we seemed to gather the best of all of their selves into this rag tag kinda group.  When they were together it definitely wasn’t easy, and not everyone was going to end up bffs, but still, it was so entertaining to watch them together. In this book I adored watching what happened between G and Cade.  G was another Dylan, so the two of them were brothers in a sense, and I loved some of the moments they had together.

✮ Action!:

I screamed at night over the things Cora had done to me, but Dylan was right. The devil was standing at my back.
And he had Dylan’s face. – Sera

There was a ton of action and this book had that go, go, go feeling.  But there was also moments where we got to breathe.  Thank goodness because we had Cora after Sera and Ash, Dylan was after so much I can’t even talk about, G and Cade were trying to save Sera and then there’s also the projects we learned about in book 2.  Oh my gosh, there was a lot going on. I’m happy I quickly skimmed some of my highlights from book 2, Omega, so that way I knew exactly where I stood before stepping into this book. BUT I never once felt lost or confused. The story and characters were extremely easy to follow and it made Alpha fly by super fast!

✮ That Ending:

She was the sun in my world, and I was simply a planet caught in her gravitational pull, helpless. Without her light, I would wither and die. – G

If you adore happily ever afters, then you’re going love the ending to this series.  We got to see what happened and where their lives would lead with so many of our favorites.  Did everyone get a HEA? Ummmm no lol. But that was bound to be expected and all I can say is that I’m ecstatic with how many epilogues we got at the back of the book.

“She was that for me,” Dylan said. He grinned, and for the first time since I’d met him, it was a genuine smile. “She was the only one who saw me. If you’re really that for him, don’t let go, because without you… Without you, he’ll just become me.”

I had a lot of fun reading this trilogy.  It was unlike a lot of other books I have read but it had that chemistry and tension that I always crave when I pick up a book. So if you adore books that have complicated friendships and love interests, solid characters that stand out and a fun science fiction element then you should give this series a try.  I will definitely be picking up other books by this author!

Synopsis:

The second book in the Infinity time travel series is full of action, romance, and an intricately designed roller coaster plot.

One mistake can change everything. Ashlyn Calvert finds that out the hard way when a bad decision leads to the death of her best friend, Noah Anderson.

Only Noah isn’t really gone. Thanks to his parents’ company, the Infinity Division, there is a version of him skipping from one dimension to another, set on revenge for the death of his sister, Kori. When a chance encounter brings him face-to-face with Ash, he’s determined to resist the magnetic pull he’s felt for her time and time again. Because falling for Ash puts his mission in danger.

But there’s more going on in Ash’s alternate universe than either of them knows: a mysterious project called Omega. A conspiracy spanning multiple Earths and revolving around none other than Ash. Its creators would do anything to keep Omega secret…

Anything.

Review:

Omega was action packed, fast paced and so much fun!  And I loved being with these characters again!  They felt like a group of friends that I’d known forever.  But before I even read the first page, I was a little nervous since this story would be told by different characters.  You see, in Infinity we followed Cade and Kori.  And in this story we followed Noah, who was Kori’s brother from another realm, and Cade’s best friend.  Plus we followed and finally met Ash.  Ash was a constant that always seemed to be in Noah’s lives on all of the realms, well except the one he was from.  They had this intense sexual chemistry.  And he thought that that was all they had.  Until he met this realms Ash.  Once I started to watch them interact, I realized that I loved having Omega’s journey told from Noah and Ash!  I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

His hand grazed my backside and I whirled on him, an even mix of horrified and angry. “Watch it.”
A spark of mischief glinted in his eyes, there and gone in a single beat of my heart before being replaced with steely resignation. “Oh yeah. I got kidnapped and tossed in a mad scientist’s basement just so I could have a shot at touching your ass. Get over yourself and move.”

Since I could talk on and on about this book, here are some of my favorite things about Omega –

✮  A strong chemistry that slowly unfolded into more –

He caught the swing inches from his face, smirking like I’d just whispered all the dirty, dark secrets I had in his ear. “Hit a nerve, did I? Maybe you like rude. Maybe jackass is your kink.”He let go of my fist and leaned a little closer. “Go ahead. Tell me I’m not even the tiniest bit right. Tell me—”
I let out a howl and launched myself at him, but instead of stopping me, this time he allowed me to collide with him, full force. When I pulled away to smack him, he held tight and let out a sound that stirred something white-hot in the pit of my stomach. Secured tight, pressed up against his annoyingly perfect body, I felt him laugh. “See, I’m getting the impression that you like the chainsaw version of me.”
And then he kissed me.

On every other realm that Noah met Ash, they just had a strong chemistry.  He would always hook up with her and move on.  But in this realm, their relationship was different.  Yeah they had chemistry that made them want to touch, kiss and be near one another, but there was more.  And watching them see what that more was all about warmed my heart.  The friendship they built slowly over time felt real.  And the things they ended up doing for one another felt plausible and a natural course of action.  But they both fought what was there every step of the way.  So their moments together made for some explosive scenes!

✮  Uncovering the truth and seeing the bigger picture –

Helping this Noah and his friends might actually be the key to my freedom. – Ash

This time around, while there was some focus on Dylan, there was SO much more going on.  In case you need a refresher, Dylan was Cade’s brother who murdered the Kori from Cade and Noah’s realm.  The focus shifted from hunting Dylan to what was happening with their interdimensional travel.  I can’t say more, but wow!  Talk about insanity, morally wrong, yet so intriguing at the same time.  It left me excited to see how it will affect the third book!

✮  Fascinating world building –

Body-numbing fear bubbled up in my gut and turned my vision watery. But, despite the near paralyzing terror, I picked myself up and ran. – Ash

I loved how each realm they landed on was different.  Whether it was barely noticeable or a stark contrast, I was always intrigued.  And the realm we spent the majority of time on, in Omega, crime controlled the land.  Al Capone was the President and their tier system was horrific.  People’s morals were nonexistent in certain situations and it was truly a nightmare world.  I was fascinated yet horrified as we saw scientists and high profile people harm others without a second thought.  I loved how each realm was so easy to visualize in every aspect!

✮  Interdimension travel and multiple of the same characters that was easy to follow –

“There’s never going to be a time for this,” she said. “Right now? This time ? It’s all we have. It’s all we might ever have…”

While it may sound confusing to talk about, it was all very easy to follow.  We meet or hear about multiple of the same characters, yet they all stood out whole, original and easily discernible from one another!  The same stands for each dimension!  I was never once confused.

✮  I adored the relationships that took place –

We walked a few more feet and I stopped. I didn’t want to venture too far from the motel. “The whole thing is asinine. Why the hell does it even bother me? Why do I care where she ends up?”
Kori smiled , then rose onto her toes and kissed my cheek. “You don’t need me to tell you why. You already know.” – Noah and Kori

While I loved the friendship that Noah and Cade had, and even their interaction with Rabbit (I couldn’t help but like that guy!), I was intrigued to see what would happen between Noah and Kori.  Noah didn’t want to get attached to her, since he saw his realms Kori murdered before his eyes.  He loved his sister and felt that getting close to this other Kori could tarnish what he had.  But he started to notice how different the two Kori’s were.  And how much he had in common with this one.  So it was fun watching Noah struggle with his inner turmoil towards Kori, especially since he had some tender moments with her.

“…..Wait until morning to do anything stupid. Agreed?” I held out my hand to her.
She hesitated, but after a moment, took it and offered a small smile. “Agreed.” – Noah and Ash

I loved the path this story took and I loved that there were some surprise characters that I didn’t see coming. Especially the group of characters at the end of the book!  The next book is going to be so much fun!  I’m happy to say that the ending left me in a perfect holding pattern, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the final book!

PS There’s a scene that involves Noah saying lines…..oh my gosh, I laughed so hard.  It was hilariously awful lol!  And it also melted my heart too.  I loved seeing Noah’s fun, flirty side!

PPS   If you read Infinity a while back, there’s wonderful reminders about what happened sprinkled throughout the beginning of Omega.  It flowed nicely with the story, and as someone who just reread the first book, I didn’t feel bogged down or bored.  This book was just too much fun for that!

Interview:

✮Did you always know that each book would feature a different couple?

It wasn’t until i was halfway through Infinity that I made the decision. I was so taken with Noah and wanted the opportunity to explore his mind. The best way to do it was to make each book focus on one of the original group. I also wanted a chance to dig around in Dylan’s mind. His motivations for why he’s done what he’s done, his love for Ava… I really loved how they all turned out!

✮If you had to cast Noah and Ash, would you prefer them to be known or unknown actors?  Anyone in mind?

Noah has always been Miles McMillan in my mind. And Ash…I think Marie Avgeropoulos would be perfect!

✮What was your favorite scene to write in Omega?

It’s kind of a tie between a scene  involving a conversation between Noah and Kori–and a kangaroo–and a scene with Noah and Ash where they’re trading pick-up lines. Confession: I snarfed coffee writing both of them 😀

✮What is your favorite quality to write in a character?

I’m a sucker for loyalty. I love writing characters that are willing to do anything and everything for those they love.

✮Was there a character in this series you connected with more, or was easier to write than the others?

I can connect with pretty much all of them. When I write, a piece of me, no matter how small, goes into all my characters. But I think if I had to single one out, it would be Kori simply because of what she had to deal with when her mother got sick.

✮The next book, will be the last one in the trilogy.  Can you tell us anything about the final book?

I can’t say much–even though it’s killing me! I will tell you this one was the most fun to write. I love them all, but there’s a ton of new worlds in #3…and…well, you’ll see 😉

Review:

Infinity haunted my dreams and interrupted my thoughts throughout the day.  I couldn’t stop thinking about this book.  I loved getting swept away by the action, adventure and the unknown.  And when I reached that last page,  I wasn’t ready to stop being in their world.  Even though it ended absolutely perfect and left me so excited for where the next book is headed!  But till then, I went and added every series and standalone this author has written to my to-read list.  This is the first book I’ve read from her, and I can’t wait to read the rest.

Real love, she always said, knew no bounds. It wasn’t hindered by space or time. It couldn’t be weakened by death. Real love started in your heart and went straight through to infinity.

Starting out, I didn’t know much about this book other than the few words in the synopsis.  And after the first two chapters, I wasn’t sure if I was going to connect to Kori Anderson.  Oh, I was so wrong.  Yes she did graffiti, yes she came across as abrasive, but she was so much more than that.  Kori had a beautiful heart, she was selfless, she was a fighter, she could be so confident and strong and then so unsure.  She was completely relatable and I loved being in her head!  We learn early on that her mother passed away, and her father has to travel for work since he’s a General in the Army.  When he’s away, he has people in the military watch over Kori.  This time he sent Cade Granger and Noah Emeal.  And because of these two, her whole world was about to change.

The small bit of distance that existed between us was banished as Cade grabbed my arms and pulled me forward. A second later, his mouth covered mine. His arms wrapped tight, holding on as though I was the only real thing in the world. Like I was the last safe place amidst a raging storm. I’d never felt anything so intense. Purely cosmic and right with the world, while at the same time, wrong.
Very, very wrong.

Cade Granger slowly captured my heart.  I liked him from the moment he showed up on Kori’s doorstep.  But as I watched his patience, hope and determination play out, I found myself being pulled further into him.  Then when light was shone on his past, I was a goner.  Cade was perfectly imperfect, and so were his interactions with Corey.  It always felt as though there was so much emotion packed between them.  Like I was standing there waiting for them to explode from the sexual tension, the unanswered questions, and the two of them constantly being pulled together.  Cade and Kori were emotionally addicting!

I wasn’t some starry-eyed girl. We weren’t in love. This wasn’t going to be a fairy tale ending. But maybe it could have been. Under different circumstances, maybe we could have fallen in love.

There’s a ridiculous amount of things I want to talk about, but I can’t.   So many of my favorite things and even moments are shrouded around some mysteries, and I can’t spoil them for you.  BUT know that my heart was put through the wringer.  I had so much hope for some things, and it felt like I was kicked in the gut time and again.  But it couldn’t be any other way.  And the more I learned, the more I ached thinking about being put in those situations.  In those people’s places.  It was extremely thought provoking, annndddd I want to say more yet again but I can’t.

No. This is not happening…
I clawed at his hand, desperate for air. My nails dug deep, drawing blood —I felt it, warm and slick— but it didn’t make him loosen his hold.
He grinned, as if pleased I was fighting back and, as I kicked out blindly with both legs, he laughed out loud.

I can say a few things about the ‘someone who wants her dead’.  And I may be one of the few who do, because this person was a psychopath.  Yet I was intrigued by what he was going to do next.  My interest in this villain definitely disturbed me, yet he’s such a fascinating character whose death I constantly wished for.

There was only one small hangup I had while I was flipping through the pages, and that was I desperately wanted Case and Noah to have a gun.  It could have been helpful, but *shrugs*.  Besides that little little hiccup, I loved everything!  Especially that ending!  I wanted to laugh, scream and cry all at the same time.  So yes, I definitely recommend this book!  And I hope you fall for these characters and the story-line just as much as I did!

P.S. Can I please beg for a Novella in Cade’s voice?  I would love to hear some of his thoughts as the story progressed and what he thought of certain interactions with others.  That bonus POV got to me and I need more!  My heart aches to hear his thoughts!  Please, please please?
