Synopsis:

The second book in the Infinity time travel series is full of action, romance, and an intricately designed roller coaster plot.

One mistake can change everything. Ashlyn Calvert finds that out the hard way when a bad decision leads to the death of her best friend, Noah Anderson.

Only Noah isn’t really gone. Thanks to his parents’ company, the Infinity Division, there is a version of him skipping from one dimension to another, set on revenge for the death of his sister, Kori. When a chance encounter brings him face-to-face with Ash, he’s determined to resist the magnetic pull he’s felt for her time and time again. Because falling for Ash puts his mission in danger.

But there’s more going on in Ash’s alternate universe than either of them knows: a mysterious project called Omega. A conspiracy spanning multiple Earths and revolving around none other than Ash. Its creators would do anything to keep Omega secret…

Anything.

Review:

Omega was action packed, fast paced and so much fun!  And I loved being with these characters again!  They felt like a group of friends that I’d known forever.  But before I even read the first page, I was a little nervous since this story would be told by different characters.  You see, in Infinity we followed Cade and Kori.  And in this story we followed Noah, who was Kori’s brother from another realm, and Cade’s best friend.  Plus we followed and finally met Ash.  Ash was a constant that always seemed to be in Noah’s lives on all of the realms, well except the one he was from.  They had this intense sexual chemistry.  And he thought that that was all they had.  Until he met this realms Ash.  Once I started to watch them interact, I realized that I loved having Omega’s journey told from Noah and Ash!  I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way!

His hand grazed my backside and I whirled on him, an even mix of horrified and angry. “Watch it.”
A spark of mischief glinted in his eyes, there and gone in a single beat of my heart before being replaced with steely resignation. “Oh yeah. I got kidnapped and tossed in a mad scientist’s basement just so I could have a shot at touching your ass. Get over yourself and move.”

Since I could talk on and on about this book, here are some of my favorite things about Omega –

✮  A strong chemistry that slowly unfolded into more –

He caught the swing inches from his face, smirking like I’d just whispered all the dirty, dark secrets I had in his ear. “Hit a nerve, did I? Maybe you like rude. Maybe jackass is your kink.”He let go of my fist and leaned a little closer. “Go ahead. Tell me I’m not even the tiniest bit right. Tell me—”
I let out a howl and launched myself at him, but instead of stopping me, this time he allowed me to collide with him, full force. When I pulled away to smack him, he held tight and let out a sound that stirred something white-hot in the pit of my stomach. Secured tight, pressed up against his annoyingly perfect body, I felt him laugh. “See, I’m getting the impression that you like the chainsaw version of me.”
And then he kissed me.

On every other realm that Noah met Ash, they just had a strong chemistry.  He would always hook up with her and move on.  But in this realm, their relationship was different.  Yeah they had chemistry that made them want to touch, kiss and be near one another, but there was more.  And watching them see what that more was all about warmed my heart.  The friendship they built slowly over time felt real.  And the things they ended up doing for one another felt plausible and a natural course of action.  But they both fought what was there every step of the way.  So their moments together made for some explosive scenes!

✮  Uncovering the truth and seeing the bigger picture –

Helping this Noah and his friends might actually be the key to my freedom. – Ash

This time around, while there was some focus on Dylan, there was SO much more going on.  In case you need a refresher, Dylan was Cade’s brother who murdered the Kori from Cade and Noah’s realm.  The focus shifted from hunting Dylan to what was happening with their interdimensional travel.  I can’t say more, but wow!  Talk about insanity, morally wrong, yet so intriguing at the same time.  It left me excited to see how it will affect the third book!

✮  Fascinating world building –

Body-numbing fear bubbled up in my gut and turned my vision watery. But, despite the near paralyzing terror, I picked myself up and ran. – Ash

I loved how each realm they landed on was different.  Whether it was barely noticeable or a stark contrast, I was always intrigued.  And the realm we spent the majority of time on, in Omega, crime controlled the land.  Al Capone was the President and their tier system was horrific.  People’s morals were nonexistent in certain situations and it was truly a nightmare world.  I was fascinated yet horrified as we saw scientists and high profile people harm others without a second thought.  I loved how each realm was so easy to visualize in every aspect!

✮  Interdimension travel and multiple of the same characters that was easy to follow –

“There’s never going to be a time for this,” she said. “Right now? This time ? It’s all we have. It’s all we might ever have…”

While it may sound confusing to talk about, it was all very easy to follow.  We meet or hear about multiple of the same characters, yet they all stood out whole, original and easily discernible from one another!  The same stands for each dimension!  I was never once confused.

✮  I adored the relationships that took place –

We walked a few more feet and I stopped. I didn’t want to venture too far from the motel. “The whole thing is asinine. Why the hell does it even bother me? Why do I care where she ends up?”
Kori smiled , then rose onto her toes and kissed my cheek. “You don’t need me to tell you why. You already know.” – Noah and Kori

While I loved the friendship that Noah and Cade had, and even their interaction with Rabbit (I couldn’t help but like that guy!), I was intrigued to see what would happen between Noah and Kori.  Noah didn’t want to get attached to her, since he saw his realms Kori murdered before his eyes.  He loved his sister and felt that getting close to this other Kori could tarnish what he had.  But he started to notice how different the two Kori’s were.  And how much he had in common with this one.  So it was fun watching Noah struggle with his inner turmoil towards Kori, especially since he had some tender moments with her.

“…..Wait until morning to do anything stupid. Agreed?” I held out my hand to her.
She hesitated, but after a moment, took it and offered a small smile. “Agreed.” – Noah and Ash

I loved the path this story took and I loved that there were some surprise characters that I didn’t see coming. Especially the group of characters at the end of the book!  The next book is going to be so much fun!  I’m happy to say that the ending left me in a perfect holding pattern, and I can’t wait to see what happens in the final book!

PS There’s a scene that involves Noah saying lines…..oh my gosh, I laughed so hard.  It was hilariously awful lol!  And it also melted my heart too.  I loved seeing Noah’s fun, flirty side!

PPS   If you read Infinity a while back, there’s wonderful reminders about what happened sprinkled throughout the beginning of Omega.  It flowed nicely with the story, and as someone who just reread the first book, I didn’t feel bogged down or bored.  This book was just too much fun for that!

Interview:

✮Did you always know that each book would feature a different couple?

It wasn’t until i was halfway through Infinity that I made the decision. I was so taken with Noah and wanted the opportunity to explore his mind. The best way to do it was to make each book focus on one of the original group. I also wanted a chance to dig around in Dylan’s mind. His motivations for why he’s done what he’s done, his love for Ava… I really loved how they all turned out!

✮If you had to cast Noah and Ash, would you prefer them to be known or unknown actors?  Anyone in mind?

Noah has always been Miles McMillan in my mind. And Ash…I think Marie Avgeropoulos would be perfect!

✮What was your favorite scene to write in Omega?

It’s kind of a tie between a scene  involving a conversation between Noah and Kori–and a kangaroo–and a scene with Noah and Ash where they’re trading pick-up lines. Confession: I snarfed coffee writing both of them 😀

✮What is your favorite quality to write in a character?

I’m a sucker for loyalty. I love writing characters that are willing to do anything and everything for those they love.

✮Was there a character in this series you connected with more, or was easier to write than the others?

I can connect with pretty much all of them. When I write, a piece of me, no matter how small, goes into all my characters. But I think if I had to single one out, it would be Kori simply because of what she had to deal with when her mother got sick.

✮The next book, will be the last one in the trilogy.  Can you tell us anything about the final book?

I can’t say much–even though it’s killing me! I will tell you this one was the most fun to write. I love them all, but there’s a ton of new worlds in #3…and…well, you’ll see 😉

BOOK REVIEW: Warcross by Marie Lu (Warcross #1)

BOOK REVIEW: Warcross by Marie Lu (Warcross #1)by Marie Lu
Purchase on: AmazoniBooks
Add to: Goodreads

Synopsis:

From #1 New York Times bestselling author Marie Lu—when a game called Warcross takes the world by storm, one girl hacks her way into its dangerous depths.

For the millions who log in every day, Warcross isn’t just a game—it’s a way of life. The obsession started ten years ago and its fan base now spans the globe, some eager to escape from reality and others hoping to make a profit. Struggling to make ends meet, teenage hacker Emika Chen works as a bounty hunter, tracking down players who bet on the game illegally. But the bounty hunting world is a competitive one, and survival has not been easy. Needing to make some quick cash, Emika takes a risk and hacks into the opening game of the international Warcross Championships—only to accidentally glitch herself into the action and become an overnight sensation.

Convinced she’s going to be arrested, Emika is shocked when instead she gets a call from the game’s creator, the elusive young billionaire Hideo Tanaka, with an irresistible offer. He needs a spy on the inside of this year’s tournament in order to uncover a security problem . . . and he wants Emika for the job. With no time to lose, Emika’s whisked off to Tokyo and thrust into a world of fame and fortune that she’s only dreamed of. But soon her investigation uncovers a sinister plot, with major consequences for the entire Warcross empire.

In this sci-fi thriller, #1 New York Times bestselling author Marie Lu conjures an immersive, exhilarating world where choosing who to trust may be the biggest gamble of all.

Oh man. Marie Lu KILLED it. This was phenomenal, and easily one of my favorite books of 2017.

I don’t even want to say much about the plot (hah if you know me, I normally like to go into books blind anyway). I’ll just say this – Emika is a kick ass heroine struggling to survive in a world where digital reigns. But she does something unexpected, which leads to a domino of events that land her in a crazy cool situation with the maker of Warcross.

Thats it. That’s all you get.

Hah okay but seriously… I am not a huge sci fi/futuristic/dystopian (not sure if this is actually dystopian though) fan. I’m a fantasy reader, point blank period. However, I LOVED Ready Player One, mostly because I played World of Warcraft for years when I was in college (heyo to my gamer friends.) And if you’ve read Ready Player One, you know its the perfect balance between fun references to crazy intense plot line, and it appeals to an audience beyond the themes it references. It was a freaking great story.

The same can be said about this.

Right now, my husband is actually reading my ARC of this and loving it. Like when we read Ready Player One together, he’s constantly nudging me and freaking out because Marie Lu knows her stuff. (Oh my gosh there’s a certain reference to WoW that had me actually screaming.)

But even if you have no gamer knowledge or you’re intimidated by books like this – trust me, don’t pre judge it. The story is damn fun and full of feels. Marie Lu has a way of sucking you into her characters, and her writing is so easy to follow. Not to mention, this is one of the coolest worlds I’ve read about, and Emika is so thoroughly developed in the beginning of the book that you’re instantly drawn to her and rooting for her hardcore.

You guys, I enjoyed EVERY. SINGLE. PAGE. The whole book is so well written and holy crap, I think I jumped out of my bed a few times. Oh man. I wish I could say more, but there are some FUN plot twists. I guessed a few, but oh Marie Lu got me in the end. But try not to go in with expectations. Just get pulled along with the plot and have fun.

AND HOLY CRAP SLDFKJ:SLKFDJ BOOK TWO AHHHH I NEED IT NOWWWW. That set up… ermergershalkdjfal;skdfj.

***

Initial pre-review:

If you like Ready Player one, read this book.
If you didn’t like Ready Player one, read this book.
If you read only fantasy(like me), trust me, take a break from it and read this book.
If you liked this book, read Ready Player one (once the trauma wears down.) And then come off the high of RP1 and read this book.

Basically read this book.

Synopsis:

DON'T READ IT IF YOU HAVEN'T READ BOOK ONE OKAY

Revenge
When Eugenides, stole Hamiathes's Gift, the Queen of Attolia lost more than a mythical relic. She lost face. Everyone knew that Eugenides had outwitted and escaped her. To restore her reputation and reassert her power, the Queen of Attolia will go to any length and accept any help that is offered...she will risk her country to execute the perfect revenge.

...but
Eugenides can steal anything. And he taunts the Queen of Attolia, moving through her strongholds seemingly at will. So Attolia waits, secure in the knowledge that the Thief will slip, that he will haunt her palace one too many times.

...at what price?
When Eugenides finds his small mountain country at war with Attolia, he must steal a man, he must steal a queen, he must steal peace. But his greatest triumph, and his greatest loss, comes in capturing something that the Queen of Attolia thought she had sacrificed long ago...

4.5 stars, rounded up because…well, if you must know, because Eugenides. Hellooo, name’s Anna, I just finished The Queen of Attolia and my mind is utterly blank.

I’d say I’m speechless, but everyone knows that I always confuse talking with breathing so nope, not happening. However I am genuinely sorry but I don’t think I’ll be able – or even want to – put my thoughts into words this time. First because there are many outstanding reviews out there already, given that I’m late to the Gen-is-awesome party ; the second – and perhaps the most important – reason would be that I want to warn you, yes, YOU THERE, you who haven’t read this series yet, and who wander oblivious, unaware of the merits of this little gem, you, I strongly advise you to stay clear from any review and savor these novels blind.
(she says, after providing links to other reviews… the irony is not lost on me XD) Trust me, the experience will be better (why am I under the impression that I’m some sort of dungeon mistress here, that I do not know).

If you really need a little more incentive, trust this : The Queen of Attolia is splendidly plotted, its word is inhabited by characters you will adore and want to protect under fire (when you won’t be strangling them, but), including strong women (yes PLURAL), a poisonous snake (I KNEW HE WAS A SLYTHERIN COME HOME GEN BABY) and a minister of war who doesn’t know that he’s hilarious (to me), the writing… well do tell, what can I say about a writing so compelling that I’ve read the damn book in a few hours, barely stopping to eat? Huh?

Now if you would excuse me, I might forget to look at my watch (3:55am, dammit!) and maybe start The King of Attolia, because if you should know something about me, it’s this : my restraint is so thin, I wouldn’t see its threads if I looked at them in full light, and I’m not one bit ashamed.

PS. Am I the only one wondering how old Gen is, exactly?

Synopsis:

Things Chloe knew: Her sister, Ivy, was lonely. Ethan was a perfect match. Ethan’s brother, David, was an arrogant jerk.

Things Chloe should have known: Setups are complicated. Ivy can make her own decisions. David may be the only person who really gets Chloe.

Meet Chloe Mitchell, a popular Los Angeles girl who’s decided that her older sister, Ivy, who’s on the autism spectrum, could use a boyfriend. Chloe already has someone in mind: Ethan Fields, a sweet, movie-obsessed boy from Ivy’s special needs class.

Chloe would like to ignore Ethan’s brother, David, but she can’t—Ivy and Ethan aren’t comfortable going out on their own, so Chloe and David have to tag along. Soon Chloe, Ivy, David, and Ethan form a quirky and wholly lovable circle. And as the group bonds over frozen-yogurt dates and movie nights, Chloe is forced to confront her own romantic choices—and the realization that it’s okay to be a different kind of normal.

Shockingly enough, this was a book I had passed over because of a couple minuscule details I picked up on in the synopsis. But, seeing as how I have a very particular set of books that work for me nowadays, upon further inspection, this book looked like it was right up my alley. I mean, come on: Douchey guy, arch nemesis (pretty much the whole school’s, to be fair), being pushed together in a selfless act for their siblings…I just couldn’t help but balk and give this one a try. Though, I should have stuck with my first instinct.

“No, thank you,” she says as David catches it neatly in his free hand.
“I insist,” David says, and whips it back at them. It can’t possibly hurt anyone—I mean, it’s a bag of chips-but the gesture is violent, and they both cower away from the Lay’s with little noises of distress. .

Lately I find that I’m so picky that it’s beyond obnoxious. Almost nothing fits my tastes but what I literally have no time to read. Like, say, Victoria Schwab’s latest release. COME TO ME. But, alas, I refuse to ruin something because of time restraints that I know I’d love normally if I had time to read it within a few days. But, if I were to pick up my favorite genre at this time, YA Fantasy, I’d be ruining every book I attempted to soak in. So, here I am, trying to navigate the YA realistic fiction waters with blinders on.

David has one of those bland faces that would get him off for murder because not a single eyewitness would be able to describe him. They’d all be saying stuff like, “Oh, you know . . . hair that’s kind of brown . . . not that straight, but not curly either . . . His nose? Just kind of normal, I guess . . . Dark eyes, probably brown . . . Average size . . .” Meanwhile he’d be off killing a bunch more innocents. And they’d come interview everyone at our school, and we’d all be, like, “Yeah, I’m not surprised. Guy was weird.

^^^ Okay, this is actually one of those moments I laughed out loud….

Yes, sure, this is a favorite genre as well, but when you don’t have the same dialogue with all your GR friends [you used to] and don’t get to scroll the feed for common interests or things that pique your curiosity, you’re constantly stuck looking at the ‘books similar to’ section-and let’s face it: That’s basically a big pile of ‘less than.’ Not often do I find a winner in this section. But here I am, stuck looking and surfing and perusing these dumb attempts to grab suckers who actually think these books have anything in common with a book they adore and aren’t just cherry picked by GR. I never ever did this before because I had all the friend advice possible, guiding me through all the winners each and every time I was looking for an awesome read. Now, here I am, settling in amidst the bottom feeder section….who’s the sucker now?

“Okay,” she says. “Just not bowling. I don’t like bowling.”
“It’s because you’re not very good at it.” Ethan pats her shoulder consolingly. .

But I’m not totally being fair-I guess some of those comparisons are astute and I’m being a bit of a pessimist these days because I just. Can’t. Find. The TIME. To read and review-and it makes me sad. And, ya know, this book wasn’t half as bad as I’m making it out to be. I’m just always looking for that ‘wow factor’ now, and I’m trying to accomplish this with minimal effort-it just doesn’t work that way and I know better. You have to really pay attention and research to find new favorites-they don’t just fall into your lap. (Unless you have great friends like I do/did who are always telling you what you’d love every time you finish a book)

Ethan glares at him but opens his mouth, and David shoves the rice in. Ethan chews and swallows. “It still hurts.”
“You shouldn’t have eaten the chili pepper,” Ivy says. “Everyone knows they’re hot.”
“I didn’t mean to!” Ethan roars at her, spraying chewed-up rice across the table. “It got in my mouth on accident!”
“Chilis can be sneaky,” I say.
“Tricky little beasts,” David agrees. “You can’t trust a chili.”
“Bell peppers, though—they’re trustworthy.”
“The really evil ones are those little shishito bastards,” David says. “Some of them are hot, and some aren’t. You can’t tell until you bite into one. How is that fair?”
“It’s not,” I say. “It’s not fair at all.” .

But enough whining-this book was pretty cute, in concept. I loved the guy in this story (I already can’t remember their names, and it’s only been a couple weeks since I finished this…not a good sign), but found his character was a bit underdeveloped. Or, rather, he was unexplored. He was this mean guy at school, snarking at everyone’s opinions like he was God and knew all, but then all of a sudden he makes exceptions for our MC. Now, this might be me acting a tad selfish- I love assholes in books, and he just showed how nice he truly was too soon for my taste. I wanted a bit more asshole, a little less ‘now you see me for who I am’ so early on in the book… Not that he even said any such Disney type line, but you get it (I think). So, in a way, it was too quick a change of heart-for both characters.

I can’t decide if the world would be a better or worse place if everyone was as honest and literal as these two. Better in some ways, I guess, but maybe a little harsh?

But what I’m not saying is that obviously we see a little more change in our MC because we are in her head (boring as it is), so it’s a bit more forgivable. With him, we are just like, WHAT? THAT’S IT? BE MEAN TO HER A LITTLE MORE! I think the feminists of the world might not like that statement…I’m sounding a bit crazy. But I am who I am, so oops. Let’s move on.

“Come on,” I say, and shove him toward the exit. “Let’s go. But admit you were wrong about that whole kissing in public thing. It’s not such a crime.”
“It is when I’m not the one kissing you.”
“Were you jealous of James? Even back then?”
“I don’t know,” he says. “Not exactly. And you guys were pretty annoying. I was sincerely disgusted by you”
“Thanks.”
“But I’ll admit that if I’d been standing where he was standing, I’d probably have had a different view of the whole thing.”

I didn’t mind the big discovery and the exploration of different…tastes…but I just thought it was handled so oddly-I think this is perhaps just my opinion, though, so take that as you will. It seems like others really enjoyed the secondary character’s adventures, so I stand alone here.

One thing I WILL stand firm on, though, is the shortness of the chapters-I hate this. I have NEVER liked this. And I never will. I kind of thought it made for a disjointed story and mixed it up to the point I didn’t even feel like I could immerse myself into the book-one minute we’re getting somewhere, and then it’s abruptly onto the next chapter. Not a fan. And the characters, or at least our main girl, were written a bit juvenile and a touch vapid-in a ditsy, not easy to relate to way. And I found the way our main guy’s brother was handled/treated was off-handed and not handled the way it should have been…It was just thrown in there and not explored as much as I think it should have been. And his family (And her boyfriend for that matter). Give me a break. Keep your money, cuz I’m not buyin’ it. Just…so odd, if you ask me. So, I think these are by far my largest problems with this book.
Had these details been more fleshed out, I would have had a much larger respect for the story and I wouldn’t have been so nitpicky-but when you can’t help but skim and roll your eyes and continually think-THAT’S IT?! Then there is something wrong.

This review was odd, had stunted writing, and was more like a list of reasons I liked and disliked everything-but who am I trying to impress? I disliked this story and it was handled poorly. IT HAD SO MUCH POTENTIAL. Sooo much wasted potential. Perhaps if a little more effort had been put into the story, I’d have written a more fleshed out review. But, as it is, I don’t give a damn. Oh well.

***Upon further review looking back at the quotes I’d chosen when I read the book [before writing the review], I did think there were a lot of cute moments and I laughed out loud a lot. The main character was actually kind of a funny smart-ass….so…..snaps to her. Also, David (ahh that’s his name, lol) was so sweet-I already said this, but he really was. And his brother was really funny. So, just a positive note to add to my surly review. What’s funny is, I was in a GREAT mood when I wrote the original review…and right now I’m in a HORRID mood….yet I’m being nicer. Curiouser and curiouser….

Review:

Infinity haunted my dreams and interrupted my thoughts throughout the day.  I couldn’t stop thinking about this book.  I loved getting swept away by the action, adventure and the unknown.  And when I reached that last page,  I wasn’t ready to stop being in their world.  Even though it ended absolutely perfect and left me so excited for where the next book is headed!  But till then, I went and added every series and standalone this author has written to my to-read list.  This is the first book I’ve read from her, and I can’t wait to read the rest.

Real love, she always said, knew no bounds. It wasn’t hindered by space or time. It couldn’t be weakened by death. Real love started in your heart and went straight through to infinity.

Starting out, I didn’t know much about this book other than the few words in the synopsis.  And after the first two chapters, I wasn’t sure if I was going to connect to Kori Anderson.  Oh, I was so wrong.  Yes she did graffiti, yes she came across as abrasive, but she was so much more than that.  Kori had a beautiful heart, she was selfless, she was a fighter, she could be so confident and strong and then so unsure.  She was completely relatable and I loved being in her head!  We learn early on that her mother passed away, and her father has to travel for work since he’s a General in the Army.  When he’s away, he has people in the military watch over Kori.  This time he sent Cade Granger and Noah Emeal.  And because of these two, her whole world was about to change.

The small bit of distance that existed between us was banished as Cade grabbed my arms and pulled me forward. A second later, his mouth covered mine. His arms wrapped tight, holding on as though I was the only real thing in the world. Like I was the last safe place amidst a raging storm. I’d never felt anything so intense. Purely cosmic and right with the world, while at the same time, wrong.
Very, very wrong.

Cade Granger slowly captured my heart.  I liked him from the moment he showed up on Kori’s doorstep.  But as I watched his patience, hope and determination play out, I found myself being pulled further into him.  Then when light was shone on his past, I was a goner.  Cade was perfectly imperfect, and so were his interactions with Corey.  It always felt as though there was so much emotion packed between them.  Like I was standing there waiting for them to explode from the sexual tension, the unanswered questions, and the two of them constantly being pulled together.  Cade and Kori were emotionally addicting!

I wasn’t some starry-eyed girl. We weren’t in love. This wasn’t going to be a fairy tale ending. But maybe it could have been. Under different circumstances, maybe we could have fallen in love.

There’s a ridiculous amount of things I want to talk about, but I can’t.   So many of my favorite things and even moments are shrouded around some mysteries, and I can’t spoil them for you.  BUT know that my heart was put through the wringer.  I had so much hope for some things, and it felt like I was kicked in the gut time and again.  But it couldn’t be any other way.  And the more I learned, the more I ached thinking about being put in those situations.  In those people’s places.  It was extremely thought provoking, annndddd I want to say more yet again but I can’t.

No. This is not happening…
I clawed at his hand, desperate for air. My nails dug deep, drawing blood —I felt it, warm and slick— but it didn’t make him loosen his hold.
He grinned, as if pleased I was fighting back and, as I kicked out blindly with both legs, he laughed out loud.

I can say a few things about the ‘someone who wants her dead’.  And I may be one of the few who do, because this person was a psychopath.  Yet I was intrigued by what he was going to do next.  My interest in this villain definitely disturbed me, yet he’s such a fascinating character whose death I constantly wished for.

There was only one small hangup I had while I was flipping through the pages, and that was I desperately wanted Case and Noah to have a gun.  It could have been helpful, but *shrugs*.  Besides that little little hiccup, I loved everything!  Especially that ending!  I wanted to laugh, scream and cry all at the same time.  So yes, I definitely recommend this book!  And I hope you fall for these characters and the story-line just as much as I did!

P.S. Can I please beg for a Novella in Cade’s voice?  I would love to hear some of his thoughts as the story progressed and what he thought of certain interactions with others.  That bonus POV got to me and I need more!  My heart aches to hear his thoughts!  Please, please please?
