Ryen from Punk 57 by Penelope Douglas
* Review  * Amazon * Goodreads *

Fat tears spill over, and I feel a weight on my shoulders. It’s not Trey. It’s not Lyla. It’s me. I don’t know who I’m supposed to be.

Ryen wasn’t perfect-but maybe that’s why I loved her so much. She made mistakes and wasn’t exactly who she portrayed herself to be…but she isn’t half as oblivious as they all think she is-Total underdog. I love her.

Catherine from Heartless by Marissa Meyer
  * Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

“I do not want his generosity, or his kindness, or any other favors!”
Her mother sneered. “Then you are a fool.”
“Good. I’ve become rather fond of fools.”

Ever wonder what a woman scorned looks like? Look no further. This book will break your heart….but Cath and Jest are worth reading about. Cath was a sweet girl who wanted nothing more than to bake…it just wasn’t in the cards. *Tee hee* I really loved her personality throughout the whole book-I just wish it had a better ending! PS. Jest was a book boyfriend-I just didn’t have enough room!

Aerity from The Great Hunt (Eurona Duology #1) by Wendy Higgins
  * Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

Determination rang out inside her, clearing away all doubts and fears before they had a chance to surface. She had no time for any of that.

Princess Aerity was brave, strong, honorable, and underneath it all she was compassionate and humbling. She was everything that would make a fair Queen one day!  The challenges and hardships she faced seemed all consuming at times. And I easily found my heart breaking and struggling right along with hers.   Aerity will always be one of my favorites!

Aria from Under the Never Sky (Under the Never Sky #1) by Veronica Rossi
  * Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

Her life was in danger. Her mission was in danger. She drew a breath and stood. She wouldn’t let herself fail.

Aria made me so proud with not only how far she had grown throughout this trilogy, but also with her strategizing.  I was actually clapping out loud at certain moments lol!  And I loved that she was a fighter through and through and never gave in easily!  I had so much respect for her!

Deleina from The Queen of Blood (The Queens of Renthia #1) by Sarah Beth Durst

  * Amazon * Goodreads *

Essun from The Obelisk Gate (The Broken Earth #2) by N.K. Jemisin
  * Amazon * Goodreads *

  * Amazon * Goodreads *

I absolutely adore Cress from the Lunar Chronicles. She’s hilarious but so sweet and I couldn’t help but fall in love with her.

  * Amazon * Goodreads *

Omg.  Billy from Three Dark Crowns.  I just finished One Dark Throne and he’s easily my favorite character!

Becks from Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

“But why? I don’t get it.”
“You don’t have to.”
“But Becks,” she whined, “I don’t understand. Why her?”
“Nothing to understand really,” he said, smiling down at me. “Sal’s my girl. Always has been.”

Alex from Alex, Approximately by Jenn Bennett
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

He kisses my forehead. “Know what I’m scared of?”
“What?”
“That I like you way too much, and I’m afraid once you get to know me, you’re going to realize that you can do lots better, and you’re going to break my heart and leave me for someone classier.”

Becks from Adorkable by Cookie O’Gorman
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

Ducking, he placed a lingering kiss on the spot right below my ear. The move made my hand shoot out to grip his jersey. Becks laughed silently, little puffs of air hitting my neck, as I shivered.

Becks was one of my many favorite things about this book. The way Becks looked at Sally, the way he claimed her as his, the way he protected her, his jealousy, oh my gosh even the way he touched her, it all made my heart beat so fast.

Tommy from Never Let Me Go by Kazuo Ishiguro
  * Amazon * Goodreads *

 “I keep thinking about this river somewhere, with the water moving really fast. And these two people in the water, trying to hold onto each other, holding on as hard as they can, but in the end it’s just too much. The current’s too strong. They’ve got to let go, drift apart. That’s how I think it is with us.”

Sophos from A Conspiracy of Kings (The Queen’s Thief #4) by Megan Whalen Turner
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

 “Sophos stood at the window, looking across the city toward the port, and as he watched shadows of clouds move across the water in the distance, he felt a chill on the back of his neck. It was self-doubt, the black beetle that had pursued him all his life, pinching at him, poisoning his every success, whispering in his ear about his flaws and his failures and his unworthiness.”

The Star-Crossed Ladies

Eugenides from The Thief (The Queen’s Thief #1) by Megan Whalen Turner
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

The most snarky, the most perfect snake, the most clever, my absolute fave, can I put him everywhere?!

Rhysand from A Court of Thorns and Roses (A Court of Thorns and Roses #1) by Sarah J. Maas
* Amazon * Goodreads *

Hah. Rhysand. He’s one scary dood. Don’t mess with him, folks.

fiercest_chelsea

Romeo from #Nerd (Hashtag #1) by Cambria Hebert
* Amazon * Goodreads *

“You didn’t correct him,” I said when he pulled out onto the road.
He glanced at me quickly before turning back to the road. “Correct him for what?”
“He called me your girl.”
He paused. “Maybe I want you to be.”

Shane from Glass Houses (The Morganville Vampires #1) by Rachel Caine
* Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

“Yeah,’” he said. “Well, obviously, not my first choice, but I’m all about second thoughts right now. But the thing is… I don’t want to leave you.’” His arm was around her, and there was nothing in the world to her but the warmth of his body against her, and his whisper, and the utterly vulnerable need in his eyes. “But it’s not going to be easy for me to say no. So help me out here.’”
Her heart was pounding. “You want to stay?’” “Yes. I—’”
He opened his mouth, then closed it, then tried again. “I need to stay. I need you.’”

Bastien from Thief of Lies (Library Jumpers #1) by Brenda Drake
*Review * Amazon * Goodreads *

From the first moment Bastien appeared, I fell head over heels in love with him. He knows what he wants in life and will do anything to get it, which is so sexy! Not only was he loving, caring and let Gia have her independence, but what he sacrificed for Gia in the 2nd book?! *clutches heart*

SALE – After the Kiss by Lauren Layne

We’re not ones to usually sign up for Sale Blitzes, BUT Chelsea and I LOVED this book!  Oh my gosh *clutches heart*.  If you’ve ever wanted to try a Lauren Layne book, or if you’ve read some of her other books but haven’t started this series yet, here’s your chance!  So check out the info on the book below and you can also read our 5 Star Reviews here – Jen’s Review & Chelsea’s Review

AFTER THE KISS
Sex, Love & Stiletto #1
Lauren Layne
Loveswept

AFTER THE KISS Lauren Layne kicks off her Sex, Love & Stiletto series with a delightful short novel! In After the Kiss, the star columnist of Stiletto magazine will do anything for a story. Anything . . . except fall in love.

Julie Greene loves flings. Loves steamy first dates, sizzling first kisses, and every now and then, that first sexy romp between the sheets. Comfy pants, sleepy Sundays, movie nights on the couch? Shudder. But when Julie gets assigned the hardest story of her career—a first-person account of that magical shift between dating and “I do”—she’ll need a man brave enough to give a total commitment-phobe a chance at more.

Normally, Mitchell Forbes would be exactly that man. A devastatingly hot workaholic who tends to stay in relationships for far too long, he should be the perfect subject for Julie’s “research.” But what Julie doesn’t know is that Mitchell is looking to cut loose for once in his life. And the leggy journalist notorious for avoiding love is exactly the type of no-strings fling he’s looking for. In other words, Mitchell is the polar opposite of what Julie needs right now. And, at the same time, he’s exactly what she wants.

$0.99 for Limited Time
