TOP TEN TUESDAY – Series We’ve Been Meaning To Read But Haven’t Yet

Top Ten Tuesday.13

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish
This week is – Series We’ve Been Meaning To Read But Haven’t Yet.  In actuality, we have SO many!  There just isn’t enough reading time in our days!  But these series are the ones we are hoping to get to ASAP, and are patiently waiting in our kindle or on our bookshelf.

(Jen’s Choice – Review)

1. #Nerd (Hashtag #1) by Cambria Hebert
I borrowed this book back in January, for my one book a month from Amazon Prime.  Oh my gosh, I have no excuse lol!  I am definitely starting this series once I finish the current series I’m reading right now!

2. The Wrath and the Dawn (The Wrath and the Dawn #1) by Renee Ahdieh
I listened to one of my book besties talk about this duology again and again!  So of course I went out and bought both books.  Welllllll, that was a year ago.

3. The Institute (The Institute #1) by Kayla Howarth
One of my favorite authors raved about this series.  So I went and bought the first few books (do you detect a theme here lol!).  This series sounds like a page turner AND the first book is free right now – in case you want to pick it up too. 🙂

4. Saven Deception (Saven #1) by Siobhan Davis
This series is now complete, it amazing reviews and I always see this author reviewing and loving the same books I do.  I was waiting for the final book to release, this last February, and I can’t wait to dive into the world she has created!

5. These Broken Stars (Starbound #1) by Amie Kaufman, Meagan Spooner
Another completed series sitting on my kindle.  I desperately need to read a book by either of these authors, especially since so many of my friends love them.  Fingers crossed I love them too!

6. The Winner’s Curse (The Winner’s Trilogy #1) by Marie Rutkoski
I bought the first book back in 2014.  And the series is now complete (YAY!).  I love when that happens!

      Aw, thank you!

  2. Raven

Great List! I loved The Wrath and Dawn and The Saven series. I’ve been wanting to read Winner’s Trilogy and The Hastag Series. These Broken Stars is one of my favorite books! I haven’t finished the series but I loved the first book. The Crown’s Game turned out to be a disappointment for me and I’ve been hearing the second book isn’t great either.

  8. Lois @ My Midnight Musing

I just finished a binge read of The Winner’s Trilogy and it was incredible. Definitely a series to binge read cause that way you won’t have to endure the painful cliffhangers for too long haha. I loved the Starbound trilogy as well, those book covers are absolutely stunning.

Thank goodness I won’t have to endure the cliffhangers either then! Thankfully that’s the huge advantage of reading the whole series once it’s released. 🙂 I’m so glad you enjoyed The Winner’s Trilogy and the Starbound Trilogy! I can’t wait to dive into them!
