Synopsis:

She’s everything he wants….

Cold. Heartless. Deadly. Whispers of his name alone bring fear to fae and mortals alike. The Prince. There is nothing in the mortal world more dangerous than him. Haunted by a past he couldn’t control, all Caden desires is revenge against those who’d wronged him, trapping him in never-ending nightmare. And there is one person he knows can help him.

She’s everything he can’t have…

Raised within the Order, Brighton Jussier knows just how dangerous the Prince is, reformed or not. She’d seen firsthand what atrocities he could be capable of. The last thing she wants to do is help him, but he leaves her little choice. Forced to work alongside him, she begins to see the man under the bitter ice. Yearning for him feels like the definition of insanity, but there’s no denying the heat in his touch and the wicked promise is his stare.

She’s everything he’ll take….

But there’s someone out there who wants to return the Prince to his former self. A walking, breathing nightmare that is hell bent on destroying the world and everyone close to him. The last thing either of them needs is a distraction, but with the attraction growing between them each now, the one thing he wants more than anything may be the one thing that will be his undoing.

She’s everything he’d die for….

Review:

The Prince was everything I absolutely love about Jennifer L. Armentrout!  It was a page turner, had a sigh worthy male, a heroine I loved, an addicting storyline, and by just that second chapter I found myself bawling my eyes out.  Between the tears, smiles and laughter, my emotions were all over the place.  JLA packed so much emotion and action into this book that I still can’t believe I was reading a novella.  I absolutely loved The Prince and I was left feeling so excited to see what happens in the future with these characters!

Panic began to blossom, but I fought it down. I started to raise my leg, aiming for where it counted, but he pressed his hips in, trapping a large thigh between mine.
“Foolish. So very foolish,” he said. “Also kind of hot.”
Wait. What?

While The Prince can easily be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend reading The Wicked Trilogy too.  Learning first hand about Ivy, Ren and Tink’s past was a fabulous and crazy ride, and they are also in this story.  But The Prince does a wonderful job of getting you caught up on the past events, so you can easily follow along with this story without having any prior knowledge.  Little clues to the past, or learning who was who, are sprinkled here and there. It’s all done without info dumps and is extremely easy to follow and understand. Just know that there are spoilers about The Wicked Trilogy in this book.

The contact was a shock to my system, and when I drew in a deep breath, he smelled like summer thunderstorms and reminded me of glistening beaches. My skin burned and tingled and the reaction was swift, potent. His hand slid to the center of my back, and the next breath I took caught in my throat.

This time we followed Brighton Jussier.  She had an administrative job in The Order, and was not part of patrolling their city for fae.  I already liked Brighton from the previous books, but in this book I came to love her!  I loved watching her find not only herself but her confidence too.  And I loved that she stood up for herself. Her life hadn’t always been easy and in this book she was dealt some hard hands.  Hence the sobbing on my part. So I was grateful that Brighton wasn’t on the front lines. But she was there when everything went down in the final moments of The Wicked Trilogy.  And because of that she got to meet both of the Summer Court’s Princes. But two years later, one of them started to appear everywhere she seemed to go.

“Because what you said about yourself is a lie.”
I stilled. “What do you mean?”
A long moment passed, so much so that I thought he wouldn’t answer, but then those thick lashes lifted and those eyes seemed to see straight through me once more. “You’re not a ghost. You never could be one, not when you burn as brilliant as the sun.”

If you adore tortured males, then you HAVE to meet Prince Caden!  His past haunted him and my heart continually broke for the horrors he was put through.  And while he could be cold and distant, he wasn’t always that way around Brighton. He could be seductive, playful and the way he was protective of her was sexy as hell!  Caden was absolutely beautiful inside and out and he easily caught me in his web of seduction.

Something warm and confusing and consuming filled up my chest as I stared at this beautiful, complicated man. And that’s what I saw when I stared at him. Not a fae. Not an Ancient. Not a Prince. Just a man.

So like I was saying, Brighton kept finding herself in these random situations with the Prince.  She had no problem putting such a powerful being in his place and their moments together always felt charged.  There was this underlying tension between them that was sexy and smoldering and I always felt like I was on the edge of my seat waiting for them to explode.  It was impossible to keep the smile off of my face when they were near each other!  It was so much fun and also oh so hot!

He drew my head back and then I felt his lips press to my temple. He kissed me there, and I don’t know why, but that act squeezed at my chest like my heart was in a juice grinder. It was sweet and intimate and… It was everything.

That’s all I’m saying about where this story goes, but just know that I loved, loved, loved The Prince!  And the best part is that we are going to get more Brighton and Caden! I can’t wait to pickup their next book and see where their story goes!  I laughed, smiled, cried and was completely captivated reading The Prince!  So yes, I definitely recommend this book!

PS Can I just say that I adore Tink and his cat Dixon?!  They are so hilarious and cute together!

[scroll-box]

Did it make you a bad friend if you were completely, a hundred percent envious of that friend? Yes? No? Kind of?

I figured it was somewhere in between.

That’s what I was mulling over as I watched Ivy Morgan brush thick, red curls over her shoulder, laughing at something her boyfriend Ren Owens had said to her.

At least I wasn’t envious of that—their love. Okay, well, that wasn’t entirely true. Pretty sure anyone who was as single as me would be envious of all that warm and fuzzy that was passed back and forth with each long look or casual brush of skin. The two could barely tear their gazes away from one another to eat the dinner we’d grabbed at the cute little diner inside the shopping center on Prytania Street.

I honest to God couldn’t be happier for them. They’d been through so much—way more than two people should ever have to go through to be together, and here they were, stronger and more in love than ever, and they deserved that happiness.

But their epic love story wasn’t the source of a current case of the green-eye monster that was sitting on my shoulder.

Ivy was just such a… badass.

Even right now, relaxed in the chair, surrounded by twinkling Christmas lights with her hand in Ren’s and her belly full of a cheeseburger deluxe and crinkle fries and half of my tater tots, she could kick ass and take names along with addresses, telephone numbers, and social security numbers.

If the proverbial poo hit the fan, you called Ivy or Ren.

If you needed to know what streets Royal intersected with, you called… me. Or if you needed coffee or fresh beignets but were currently busy, you know, saving the world, you’d call me.

The three of us were all members of the Order, a widespread organization that was literally the only thing that stood between mankind and complete, utter enslavement and destruction by the fae. And not the super cute fae found in Disney movies or some crap like that. Humans thought they were on top of the food chain. They were wrong. The fae were.

The only thing pop culture got right about the fae was their slightly pointy ears. That was it. The fae were more than just beings from another world—the Otherworld—they were capable of glamouring their appearance to blend in with humans. But all Order members, even me, were warded at birth against the glamour. We saw through the human façade to the creature that lurked beneath.[/scroll-box]

Synopsis:

Things are about to get Wicked in New Orleans.

Twenty-two year old Ivy Morgan isn’t your average college student. She, and others like her, know humans aren’t the only thing trolling the French Quarter for fun… and for food. Her duty to the Order is her life. After all, four years ago, she lost everything at the hands of the creatures she’d sworn to hunt, tearing her world and her heart apart.

Ren Owens is the last person Ivy expected to enter her rigidly controlled life. He’s six feet and three inches of temptation and swoon-inducing charm. With forest-green eyes and a smile that’s surely left a stream of broken hearts in its wake, he has an uncanny, almost unnatural ability to make her yearn for everything he has to offer. But letting him in is as dangerous as hunting the cold-blooded killers stalking the streets. Losing the boy she loved once before had nearly destroyed her, but the sparking tension that grows between them becomes impossible for Ivy to deny. Deep down, she wants… she needs more than what her duty demands of her, what her past has shaped for her.

But as Ivy grows closer to Ren, she realizes she’s not the only one carrying secrets that could shatter the frail bond between them. There’s something he’s not telling her, and one thing is for certain. She’s no longer sure what is more dangerous to her—the ancient beings threatening to take over the town or the man demanding to lay claim to her heart and her soul.

Review:

Wicked was seductive, insanely addicting and had moments that were oh so funny.  I love picking up a Jennifer Armentrout book there’s a great chance that I’m going to love the story.  But somehow I always forget how deeply immersed I become with the storyline and the characters.  So by the time I got to the end of Wicked, I couldn’t help shaking my head because I had tears pouring down my face.  Again.  I don’t know why I’m always shocked that I feel every single tiny moment of joy, hope and utter devastation with the characters she creates.  Because that’s what always happens.  But her endings, oh my goodness, this one left my heart hurting yet I have lots of faith and can’t wait to see where the story will go!

We lived with death and we knew it waited for each and every one of us. We were taught not to fear the inevitable, but again, what we were never taught was how to live on when those around us left.

It was so much fun being back in a world that somehow reminded me of the Covenant/Titan series.  I think I’m grasping straws here, but the setting took place in a world much like the one we are living in now.  Plus, the members of the Order have endured a lifetime of training and a dedication that they will protect those around them.  I was fascinated learning everything I could about them.

“Are you hitting on me?” Shocked, I shook my head. “Are you for real?”
“My momma probably thinks I’m real.”
I ignored that. “While I have a stake at your throat?”
“You’re also sitting on me, and sweetness, if you slide about an inch or so down, things are going to get real awkward.”
Holy shit.
“Or fun,” he added, and his lips did that slow curl again, like he savored the whole process of smiling. “I told you I found that move you made to be fucking hot. But I don’t think you’re going to be down for that.”

Ivy is a member of the Order, and while she spent her days going to college, at night she hunted the fae.  I loved that she had aspirations to become more in life then what she was raised to be.  But it was fun watching her hunt the fae at night.  She was beyond brave and I quickly admired her strength and her perseverance to keeping others safe.  But during the day I got to see many other sides to her.  When she was around Tink, a brownie that she saved and was living with her, the humor that floated between the two of them was electrifying.  And then the naivety and uncertainty that she showed around Ren, a new transfer in the Order, just made me like her that much more.  She was so relatable, real, caring, ahhh you know what?  Ivy was someone that I would value and be grateful to have as a friend.

“You’re going to have to get to know me better before you taste my cake.”
Ren opened his mouth then closed it a second before he stopped and stepped right in front of me. I skidded to a stop to avoid slamming into him . The guy behind us cursed and shot us a dirty look as he walked around us. Ren ignored him. “Was that an invitation? Because I’m willing to get to know you in any way possible if that means I get to taste your cake.”
“Invitation for . . .?” Oh my God. My words replayed. My face turned crimson. “You are such a pervert!” I smacked his chest hard. “That’s not what I meant.”
“That’s a damn shame then,” he said solemnly.
I hit him again, on the arm this time, then stormed around him. “You’re such a dog.”

Ren, oh my gosh. *shivers coat my skin* I loved how direct and to the point he was.  I loved that he knew right away that he wanted Ivy and he definitely had no problems physically and verbally expressing that to her.  He was forward, seductive, charming and I couldn’t get enough of him!  While I’m usually not the biggest fan of a forward approach, he quickly had me begging for more.  The way he treated Ivy, the way he performed his job, actually everything he did I was a huge fan of.  I loved, loved, loved Ren.

“You wouldn’t lie to me, would you, Tink?”
“No.” He grinned. “You have Amazon Prime.”

I couldn’t end this review without talking a little bit more about Tink.  Tink was ridiculously hilarious.  That little bastard had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes.  My favorite moment with him was the ‘Braveheart’ scene, oh my gosh I had tears pouring down my face!  Add in the fact that he was obsessed with Amazon Prime and sugar, well I honestly think we could be best friends forever!  And I’m just as excited to see what happens to him in the future books, as I am about Ivy and Ren!  So yes, I easily fell madly in love with this story and the characters and hopefully you will too!

P.S. I love that Ivy reads and that she mentions The Marked Men by Jay Crownover (I 💗 Rule & Asa).

Synopsis:

The de Vincent brothers are back—and so is the intrigue that surrounds them—in New York Times bestselling author Jennifer L. Armentrout’s sizzling new novel . . .

Nicolette Bresson never thought she’d return to the de Vincents’ bayou compound. It’s where her parents work, where Nikki grew up . . . and where she got her heart broken by Gabriel de Vincent himself. Yet here she is, filling in for her sick mother. Avoiding Gabe should be easy, especially when so much of Nikki’s time is spent trying not to be stabbed in the back by the malicious hangers-on who frequent the mansion. But escaping memories of Gabe, much less his smoking-hot presence, is harder than expected—especially since he seems determined to be in Nikki’s space as much as possible.

Gabriel spent years beating himself up over his last encounter with Nikki. He’d wanted her then, but for reasons that were bad for both of them. Things have now changed. Gabe sees more than a girl he’s known forever; he sees a smart, talented, and heartbreakingly beautiful woman . . . one who’s being stalked from the shadows. Now, Gabe will do anything to keep Nikki safe—and to stop the de Vincent curse from striking again.

Review:

Moonlight Seduction was a whirlwind of emotions and completely addicting!  Being back in this world, and falling for a different de Vincent brother made me oh so happy.  I loved how mystery weaved into the story and that there was a strong female who I adored. So if you like adult romance that is slow-burn, sexy, will pull at your emotions and is a page turner then you definitely have to give this book a try!

“Nic.”
She stopped. It was like she had no control.
Silence.
Biting down on her lip and telling herself she was probably going to regret this, she slowly faced him.

This time around we got to jump into Gabriel de Vincent’s life.  He was the middle brother and he definitely had some secrets from his past.  And one of them was tied to Nicolette Bresson, aka Nikki. Nikki found herself back in town, and working at the de Vincent’s house to fill in for her mom.  Her parents had worked for them forever and Nikki had crushed on Gabe when she was younger. Even though he was ten years older than her. They hadn’t seen each other in years and something happened that made their friendship explode.  I loved how we were given clues about what happened and you could tell that none of their emotions had disappeared.  I couldn’t wait to see it all play out!

As she left the room, she couldn’t help but notice that Gabe wasn’t grinning as he watched her from under his thick lashes. Oh, no , the man was smiling that smile that had gotten her in trouble all those years ago, and her stupid, stupid reckless heart jumped in her chest.

Again we got to alternate between our two love interests.  I liked Nikki right from the start! I loved how she stood up for herself, how strong she was and that she felt like someone who could easily become one of my friends.  But Gabe? Sigh, he was a man who was fun to figure out. He could be so harsh to Nikki and then in the next moment he could be playful and charming. I definitely felt lost at times, like Nikki, when Gabe ran hot and cold.  But there were these moments where he was protective of her and oh my heart, he was fierce, loyal and sexy!

Placing his hands on either side of her hips, he dipped his chin and suddenly their mouths were lined up. She sucked in a soft breath as her heart threatened to slam its way out of her chest.
“What are you doing?” she whispered.
“About to have an awkward conversation with you again.”

Anytime they were near each other it felt insanely seductive and hot.  I loved the sexual tension that simmered between them. But you could tell from the hints that they had a lot to work through from their past.  Although there was no denying that eventually they would do more.  I mean, just the simplest touch, or even look between them was scorching.  And when it moved to more, it was beyond steamy.  But there was also heartache, betrayal and tears smudged into the pages and my heart broke for the both of them.

“You tell me to stop and I will.”
Her lips parted. She needed to tell him to stop, because she knew that whatever was happening right now was going to change everything between them, and she knew this time there wouldn’t be any repairing the damage it would wreak on their friendship . . . and possibly her life.

But other things happened to Nikki and Gabe within the pages.  There were those lingering, creepy moments where I was left thinking….ghosts?  I still wasn’t sure, but I knew one thing, I shouldn’t have read this book in the dark!  I’m a baby lol. And on top of the mysterious moments, I didn’t think this book would go so dark.  I was shocked, gutted and terrified, so I have to give a trigger warning for an attempted rape. Moonlight Seduction was definitely an emotional book.  Or at least it was for me. There was a few moments where I sobbed my eyes out hysterically. It was so easy to become deeply, emotionally connected to these characters.

“I said Saturday night I don’t know what we’re doing, where it’s going to lead.” He turned his head, kissing her inner thigh. The rough skin of his jaw drove her crazy. “That didn’t mean I wasn’t going to travel that road and find out.”

There were lots of fun moments and I loved that Lucian and Julia got to be back in the mix of everything.  Lucian is Gabe’s brother and was featured in the first book, Moonlight Sins. And while this book could be read as a standalone, I definitely recommend starting with that one.  You don’t want to miss out on a moment with these charismatic brothers! So yes, I loved how this book wrapped up, but it definitely left me excited for the next one, Moonlight Scandals.  It’s about Devlin, the oldest de Vincent brother, and I’ve crowned him King of Assholes lol.  I can’t wait to get inside his head!

PS I love that Diesel, one of Jen’s dogs, got a shout out, awww!

There’s something about her that makes Lucian want to lay himself bare, but some secrets are better left buried, right along with a past that could not only bring down a dynasty but destroy Julia in the process.

Review:

Moonlight Sins slowly ensnared me in its web of games.  It was sexy, twisted, suspenseful, charismatic and I devoured this book in one day.  It refused to be put down.  Mystery filled the pages and I loved that the characters all felt so much larger than life!  So when I closed that last page I was thankful that there would be two more books about the other brothers.  There was no way I was ready to say goodbye to all of these characters that captured my heart.

His breath now danced over her ear. “I don’t know why you’re resisting this. I know you want me just as badly as I want you.”
She did. Oh God, she did.
Her eyes closed.
It was official.
Julia was already in over her head when it came to Lucian de Vincent and she wasn’t coming up for air anytime soon.

Right from the start I liked Julia Hughes.  She was fiery, smart and she didn’t have any problems standing up for herself.  She was also kind hearted and such an honest person.  When we stepped into her life, she was in the process of leaving everything behind.  Her job, home and friends, all for a fresh start. It was definitely needed since Julia had some shadows in her closet.  Yet when she arrived at her new job, it was unlike anything she ever could have imagined.

Her lips parted as her body flashed hot, really hot, and then cold. “Is there literally anything you can’t make sound sexual?”
“No. It’s like a superpower of mine.”
Her eyes narrowed.
Lucian smiled.

Julia discovered that she’d be caring for Maddie de Vincent.  The de Vincent’s are notorious and one of the wealthiest families in the US.  And each of Maddie’s three brothers had a dark reputation. Julia found herself stepping into a world filled with mystery, luxury, curses and so much more.  Thankfully we alternated between Julia and Maddie’s twin Lucien.  And while I loved Julia, hearing every single honest thought from Lucien sent me into a tailspin.

“I’m not just screwed up, Ms. Hughes. I’m as broken as they come, but I don’t need to be fixed. I don’t want to be fixed.” He caged her in. “I like all my fucked-up shards and pieces. They make me who I am. They make me real. The question is, can you handle real?”

Lucien de Vincent was sexy, charismatic, loved to be in control and was off the charts scorching hot.  Whether it was his looks, to the way he walked and even the words that came out of his mouth, everything he did was seductive.  So if you love alpha playboys then you definitely have to meet Lucien. But Lucien loved his twin with his whole heart, I loved seeing that side of him.  And while he had a vested interest in who would be caring for Maddie, he crossed the line with Julia. Oh man did he cross the line! But I loved the first time he did it and every single time after that!

“Had a moment?” she whispered, and then yanked her hand free. She lifted her chin. “It was barely a moment.”
A surprised laugh almost escaped him as he stared down at her. Damn. He liked that. He liked
her. He was smart enough to keep his expression blank, because at least she wasn’t trying to grab her purse and storm out.

Julia and Lucien played such a sexy game.  She was drawn to him, but he was her boss. And while he was drawn to her, he was never with the same woman twice.  But Julia continually stood up and challenged Lucien. She was unlike anyone he’d ever met before. Which seemed to fuel his want for her.  But there was no way they could ignore that anytime they were together the sexual tension and fun banter was off the charts! It all just added to the list of reasons why this book was impossible to put down!

Julia’s hips tipped back, into his, and she bit down on her lip at the sound of his deep, throaty growl.
God, she never heard a man make that sound before. Not like that. Not like he was about to devour her.

There is so much more I want to say, especially about that sexy beginning, those mysterious footsteps and the fact that it felt as though there were hints of paranormal elements in the house and even with the brothers.  But so much of this tale is shrouded in mystery, so my lips are zipped.  And it was a lot fun to watch as everything slowly unfolded while we got little clues here and there.  While I guessed two of the main mysteries, it definitely didn’t take away from my enjoyment. I found myself always second guessing my thoughts, because there were so many different ways it could all play out.  So hang on, because you’re going to be on one crazy ride. Now I can’t wait to start the second book in this series, Moonlight Seduction. It’s about Lucien’s brother Gabe, and I’m excited to step back into this gothic feeling series!

Synopsis:

History is on repeat…

Seth never thought he’d have a future. But now he’s on the brink of having it all with Josie: A tomorrow. A family. A forever. And all that's standing between him and that forever is the Titans. If he helps Josie entomb them -- without killing them, a nearly impossible task for him -- everything he could ever want will be in reach. But he soon realizes that as a god, every little choice he makes can reshape the world for the better… or worse. And in meddling with the Titans, Seth may have just set into motion catastrophic consequences that will force the Olympians to enter the mortal realm and reshape the delicate balance of power that keeps the world from total collapse.

A price must be paid…

Entombing the Titans is Josie’s top priority. After all, it was what she was born to do. But the plans her father put into play to help her are no longer an option, and the odds she and Seth face in forging their own path are grim. The escalating violence between halfs and pures only increases the danger closing in on them and their friends. Josie knows their chances of succeeding in their task are slim at best -- and if they fail, they might lose everything. But she also knows she's not fighting just for herself -- she's fighting for the man she loves, for their future, for the world. Together with the Army of Awesome, Josie and Seth will face the unthinkable. And to win this war, the ultimate sacrifice must be made.

For the end is here and the Prophecy will be fulfilled….

Review:

***Spoilers for the previous books in this series***

The Prophecy was a stunning conclusion to the Titan Series!  It was action packed, emotionally gutting and completely addicting!  This is going down as one of my favorite series ever!  Here are some of the reasons why I fell so crazy hard for The Titan Series……

✮ Characters that captured my heart

So damn lucky.
Another three words that kept replaying over and over. The thing about luck, though? It was bound to run out.
Always. – Seth

From the beginning of this series, Josie and Seth enraptured my heart.  And as I closed each new book, I felt myself grow even closer to them. Along with every one else in the pages.  They all felt so real.  As though I could feel their emotions radiating off of the pages.  It was so easy to love them, flaws and all. But Seth? Oh, he will always be one of my favorites.  He was the tortured soul whose past continually haunted him. His choices broke his own heart, and mine.  Yet he was more than redeemable. And he proved that. Especially in this book! I’ve never been more proud of Seth!  Although, just wait. Because Josie’s love and faith in Seth made me cry. She was the perfect match for Seth in every way possible.

Her eyes narrowed. “I think you can find a better use for your mouth instead of talking.”
I laughed. “Damn, girl.”
She grinned at me as she rose onto her elbows. “Just speaking the truth,
Sethie.”
“That you are.”
And so I did.

✮ True Love

“What I feel for you increases every waking moment and sometimes that scares the hell out of me, but I love you. Yesterday. Today. A thousand tomorrows from now, I will be in love with you.” – Seth

There is something so powerful about love conquering all.  And what Josie and Seth had was definitely true love. It not only conquered all, but it gave them strength.  Strength with each other and it also helped them find strength within themselves. But they definitely didn’t have an easy path.  They had so many obstacles in their way. Yet they persevered. And their love grew stronger because of everything they faced. I loved that by the end, Seth and Josie truly felt like a power couple.

“My life really didn’t have much meaning until I met you. I always hated the idea of fate, but it feels like this is fate.” – Seth

✮ An emotional journey

I curled into myself, a scream of vast agony and despair still pouring from me, tearing from my very soul. – Josie

The Prophecy was the most emotional book in this series.  And that’s saying a lot, because the last book?  I thought that one would break me. Oh how naive I was.  I found myself sobbing through chapters of the Prophecy.  So make sure that you have a box of tissues with you, because I found myself crying all kinds of tears.  There were happy tears, hopeful tears and then there was also the gut wrenching tears that stole my breath and left me shaking.  This was an extremely emotional book. And looking back, I loved every minute of it!

Lifting her against my chest, I buried my face in her neck as I lost all control. Didn’t even care. I fucking sobbed as I held her. – Seth

✮ Friendships

“I want to go with you,” Aiden announced.
Seth looked over his shoulder at him. “Are you trying to be my best friend?”
Aiden smirked. “I thought we already were best friends.”

Here’s another beautiful thing about this series, it was not just about Seth and Josie.  There were so many characters that had captured my heart all the way back to The Covenant Series.  And they played such an important part throughout this series! They added so much lightness and humor.  They had Seth and Josie’s backs. They were true friends. And I loved all of the smiles, laughter and even tension they created.  Alex, Aiden, Luke, Declan, Solos, Marcus, Apollo and so many others added so much heart to this book!

A surprised laugh burst out of me. “Baby shower?”
“Of course! We’re going to have a huge one.” He clasped my hands and squeezed. “Like, the baby shower to end all baby showers. It’ll be
Supernatural-themed.”
My brows flew up.
Luke’s grin was now a full-fledged smile.
“How far along are you ? Do you know if it’s a boy or girl? When are you due?” Excitement filled Deacon’s eyes. “Can I name it? If it’s a boy, it has to be Sam or Dean. No other options.”
“Geez,” Alex laughed. “Come get your boy, Luke.”

✮ Sacrifice

The finality of this slammed into me. This was happening. There was no way out of this. He was going to do it, and I broke. Deep, soul-crushing sobs racked my body as Seth held me. I buried my face into his chest, gripping his shirt once again. – Josie

Sacrifice was such a beautiful, emotional theme throughout this series.  Seth sacrificed his happiness to keep Josie safe, and far away from him. Josie sacrificed her duties and relationship with someone, so she could make Seth realize how much she loved him.  I watched this theme happen again and again throughout this series. Every single time it was magnificent. But the sacrifices that took place in The Prophecy? It blows all of the other sacrifices out of the water.  These crushed my heart and soul. I sobbed hysterically and there was no stopping the pain.  Yet the love it showed? It was beautiful. It was selfless. And it was perfect. Absolutely perfect.

Hope dared spark alive deep in my chest, but so did a terror I’d never tasted before, because hope— it could kill me. – Josie

The Covenant Series was one of my favorite series.  To be able to stay in that world, in a spin-off series, with characters I loved with my whole heart?!  Priceless! And with the addition of new characters I absolutely adored, that just made this series such a huge win!  So it should be glaringly obvious that The Titan Series easily become one of my favorite series ever. Yet I’m still in complete awe over all of the emotions that were pulled out of me.  I loved every single smile, laugh, heart clutching, sobbing hysterically moment. And to end out this series, I have to say that the Epilogue was EVERYTHING!!!!! It was absolutely perfect!!!!!  Sigh.

“You’ve always been the best of me, Josie. I love you.” – Seth

PS Anybody else want to know more about Erik?  I feel like he has a world of issues and trouble just waiting to be dived into.  Possibly with Erin…..can a bound demigod even be with a fury?

PPS Chapter 33 “from what we can tell”, I’m holding onto that phrase.  You’ll see what I mean when you read that scene muahaha.
