★✩★Just Finished & Loved ★✩★

Hard Bitten: A Chicagoland Vampires Novel #4 by Chloe Neill – Chelsea is continuing to love this series and had to say – This world has captured me-stolen my heart and made it impossible to breathe without one of the installments firmly within my grasp.
(Chelsea’s Review)

Darkest Minds, The (The Darkest Minds Book 1) by Alexandra Bracken – The Darkest Minds was an emotional powerhouse that resonated deep within me. I was glued to this page turner and the story was a collection of darkness, laughter and the fact that maybe we can never out run our fate. I will never forget this story for as long as I live. (Jen’s review)

Stone Cold Touch (The Dark Elements Book 2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout – I just really love this series, and even more I love that it’s a trilogy. 5 books is too many, three will sum this all up perfectly….and I can’t wait to see who our part demon chooses.
(Chelsea’s Review)

★✩★New Releases in the Next Week★✩★

NOCTE (The Nocte Trilogy Book 1) by Courtney Cole – SAVE ME AND I’LL SAVE YOU….

The Boys of Summer (The Summer Series #1) by C.J. Duggan – Tess’s summer of working expands her world with a series of first times with new friends, forbidden love and heartbreaking chaos.

Finding Cinderella: A Novella by Colleen Hoover – A chance encounter in the dark leads eighteen-year-old Daniel and the girl who stumbles across him to profess their love for each other. But this love has conditions: they agree it will only last one hour and it will only be make-believe.

Obsidian (A Lux Nove #1l) by Jennifer L. Armentrout – One of our favorite series!  Whether it’s the infuriating smug sexiness that is Daemon, or the strong-willed won’t take crap Katy, or the energetic loveable Dee or the annoying duo that is Ash and Andrew, we LOVED all of the characters in this book.
(Jen’s Review) (Chelsea’s Review)

Eversea (Eversea #1) by Natasha Boyd – Something about this book just made me feel EVERYTHING and love every single bit (even the drama). Maybe it was the writing or maybe it was the characters but what ever it was I loved every minute of it.
(Harriet’s review)

The Darkest Night (Lords of the Underworld #1) by Gena Showalter –
All her life, Ashlyn Darrow has been tormented by voices from the past. To end the nightmare, she has come to Budapest seeking help from men rumored to have supernatural abilities, not knowing she’ll be swept into the arms of Maddox, their most dangerous member—a man trapped in a hell of his own.
Neither can resist the instant hunger that calms their torments…and ignites an irresistible passion. But every heated touch and burning kiss will edge them closer to destruction—and a soul-shattering test of love….

The Darkest Minds: Never Fade by Alexandra Bracken – This is the second book in a gripping series that we love and highly recommend!

The Girl of Fire and Thorns by Rae Carson – Once a century, one person is chosen for greatness.
Elisa is the chosen one. But she is also the younger of two princesses. The one who has never done anything remarkable, and can’t see how she ever will.

World After (Penryn & the End of Days #2) by Susan Ee – The second book in one of our favorite series is also on sale along with the first book below!

Angelfall (Penryn & the End of Days #1) by Susan Ee – One of our favorite series!  It’s been six weeks since angels of the apocalypse descended to demolish the modern world. Street gangs rule the day while fear and superstition rule the night. When warrior angels fly away with a helpless little girl, her seventeen-year-old sister Penryn will do anything to get her back. Anything, including making a deal with Raffe, an injured enemy angel.  (Harriet’s review) (Chelsea’s Review)

Beautifully Damaged (Beautifully Damaged #1) by L.A. Fiore – Still damaged from her last disastrous relationship and warned off the bad boy by friends, Ember fights the smoldering heat that Trace sparks in her when he begins shadowing her like a dark angel.

Alice in Zombieland (The White Rabbit Chronicles #1) by Gena Showalter – Before I go any further I want to say to people that are thinking of reading this. Alice In Zombieland has NOTHING to do with Alice In Wonderland! There is a few similarities but only by names and chapter titles.. The heroine is named Alice although she prefers to be called Ali and chapters are titled like ‘off with her head.’ I know a few reviewers went into this thinking it would be a twist on AIW and so they was disappointed, I went into this knowing it was different and so for me it worked.
(Chelsea’s review) (Harriet’s review)

Shine Not Burn (Shine Not Burn #1) by Elle Casey – Holy hot cowboys, I love this book! I laughed A LOT, Mack is sooo sexy, Andie is a hysterical drunk, the chemistry between the two of them is HOT and the story reads as though you are watching a movie.
(Jen’s review)

Whatever Life Throws at You by Julie Cross – Seventeen-year-old Annie Lucas’s life is completely upended the moment her dad returns to the major leagues as the new pitching coach for the Kansas City Royals. Now she’s living in Missouri (too cold), attending an all-girls school (no boys), and navigating the strange world of professional sports. But Annie has dreams of her own—most of which involve placing first at every track meet…and one starring the Royals’ super-hot rookie pitcher.

Anna Dressed in Blood (Anna #1) by Kendare Blake – Cas Lowood has inherited an unusual vocation: He kills the dead.  So did his father before him, until he was gruesomely murdered by a ghost he sought to kill. Now, armed with his father’s mysterious and deadly athame, Cas travels the country with his kitchen-witch mother and their spirit-sniffing cat. Together they follow legends and local lore, trying to keep up with the murderous dead.  (Chelsea’s Review)

Marked (House of Night #1) by P.C. Cast – The House of Night series is set in a world very much like our own, except in 16-year-old Zoey Redbird’s world, vampyres have always existed.  Zoey enters the House of Night, a school where, after having undergone the Change, she will train to become an adult vampire–that is, if she makes it through the Change.  Not all of those who are chosen do.  It’s tough to begin a new life, away from her parents and friends, and on top of that, Zoey finds she is no average fledgling.  She has been Marked as special by the vampyre Goddess, Nyx.
