A Gathering of Shadows Final
(Chelsea’s Choice – Review
Anna’s Choice- Review )

1. Soldier (Talon #3) by Julie Kagawa – This book absolutely stole my heart from the minute I began to read about Garret again. Nothing this year has compared to the amount of heart break, hope, and utter devastation this book pulled from me.

2. A Gathering of Shadows (Shades of Magic #2) by V.E. Schwab – I may have just started this series in 2016, but Kell and Lila haven’t left my heart even months after finishing this second installment. Extreme peril, unbreakable bonds and friendships, and a love so beautiful it took my breath away, this book is an absolute favorite. (Chelsea)

the last star rick yancey
(Chelsea’s Choice – Review)

3. Glass Sword (Red Queen #2) by Victoria Aveyard – From the moment Cal spoke in book two, I was a goner. I hadn’t even realized how much I adored him until January came and I needed him more than my next breath…needless to say I was extremely pleased with every little thing involving Cal.

4. The Last Star (The 5th Wave #3) by Rick Yancey  – Pulse-pounding, earth-shattering, heartbreaking, and soul-crushing from beginning to end, I didn’t know what I wanted from this final installment-But this absolutely delivered.

Riders by Veronica Rossi
(Jen’s Choice – Review)
The Uprising (The Union Series #3) by T.H. Hernandez
(Jen’s Choice – Review)

5. Riders (Riders, #1) by Veronica Rossi  – Riders was a rich, imaginative story whose perilous situations continued on longer than I thought was possible, and I loved every heart stopping moment of it! I fell madly in love with this story where death created a journey that was filled with new-found powers and struggles at every turn.

6. The Uprising (The Union #3) by T.H. Hernandez – I easily found myself lost in all of the adventure, love, laughter, loss and plenty of risks all over again.  But this time around, many of the pieces of the puzzle were starting to move into place.  We got to see how certain events and even characters were fitting together, and it has me so ecstatic for what’s to come!

The Power Jennifer L. Armentrout Titan
(Jen’s Choice – Review)
ACOMAF cover
(Anna’s Choice – Review)

7. The Power (Titan #2) by Jennifer L. Armentrout – The Power captured my heart completely.  It was hilarious, heartwarming, sexy and extremely addicting.  Seth and Josie’s story is a must read for all paranormal lovers out there!

8. A Court of Mist and Fury by Sarah J. Maas – I loved everything about A Court of Mist and Fury. And to think that I almost didn’t read it. What a fool I’d have been : I would have missed this nastier, sexier, darker, more captivating and splendid tale.

every heart a doorway cover
(Anna’s Choice – Review)

Good Girl
(Chelsea’s Choice – Review
Jen’s Choice-Review)

9. Every Heart a Doorway by Seanan McGuire – Thought-provoking. Deep. Profound. Unforgettable. Indescribable

10. Good Girl by Lauren Layne– Of course we couldn’t forget about our bad boy who fell for the good girl….he is on the top of our LL BBF list just from his bad attitude alone!

So these are Our Favorite 2016 Releases So Far.  Have you read any of these books or do you have them on your to-read list?  Or did you find other books that you fell madly in love with that released this year?  We’d love to know!

Yes and I loved it! I know a few of our friends didn’t love it as much *cough Anna cough* lol, because of slut shaming and a few other issues they had, BUT Chelsea and I LOVED! It’s such a sexy yet funny friendship to lovers story. It doesn’t tie into Good Girl at all, it’s just is in the same “series” because they are both standalones, but no characters ever meet from both books and they aren’t in the same setting or area of the US at all. 🙂

I haven’t read any of these but a few of them are on my TBR.
