Life:
This last week was filled with soccer games, volunteering in my oldest son’s Kindergarten class, my youngest son getting sick and the daily struggle to try and hurry up the processors so we can close on our new house before the end of the month. The highlight of my last week was definitely volunteering in my oldest son’s classroom. Kindergarten is such a fun age! They want to learn, work on projects and are so adorable to be around. And you know what…….when I started college years ago I honestly thought that I wanted to be a Kindergarten or 1st grade teacher. It’s what I had dreamed about. But after taking classes in that field, it just didn’t feel right. So I dabbled in psychology, which wasn’t a fit either, and ended up landing in Business. In that first class, I just knew that this was where I was supposed to be. I was beyond passionate about my classes, and the next few years flew by way too fast. But a part of me has still thought about teaching, even though I knew that’s not what I wanted to do. So I’m beyond ecstatic now, because I get to be a part of teaching, but for only a few hours a week. I’m so thankful for this opportunity, and I’m definitely looking forward to every Wednesday morning for the rest of this school year! ♥
In case you aren’t familiar with our Friday Star Posts, we like to take a look at what’s happened around here in the last week, what’s coming up that we are excited about and anything else that we may have to share!
♥ Enjoy!
